What to do? Make more investments when young and work hard and smart for that promotion and try to start a business later on when have adequate capital. Or else really get stuck in the rat race forever.

Now still have opportunities in the stock market if you know where to look. I never have more than 2000AUD in my bank account at any moment in time. All into investments.

Tipu liao lah..in 1983, fresh graduate getting much lower than this.. When i graduated in 92, my starting pay in a small audit firm only RM550. Medium firm that time ~ RM700 & big 5 RM1000. So getting RM1200 10 yrs b4 my time is a big bullshit.. unless he worked for MNC giant that time.??

At the moment, only MNCs have the power to pay a lot. Unfortunately local rules make it unattractive to bring these giants in. So too bad lor, all msians irregardless of race suffer.
