While true, I can emphatise on where the movement is coming from though. Having a trilogy like this, and people who have been playing since the first part came out, it's a long time already. People are just expecting are more... complete ending / closure of sorts. I mean for example, Shepard can die, but they all want to see if possible each individual doing in the post death situation. Maybe a glimpse of Jack as headmaster of the academy, Miranda sellling stuff at retail shop, joker & edi... Basically we get to see more of them.
I think this part some of the JRPG days of old, shines... they feature more story during the ending, something like Star Ocean and the like, multiple ending pairings and more random stories you see of them post series.
I think for a closure trilogy, people expect 12 minutes ending (exclude credits). Lol.
