They are using batch. Not just order and arrive like we do in Garage Sales. I think they doing bulk. Not sure how long but seems around > 2 weeks.

They seems promising about warranty issue but I'm not a dealer so I won't say they have good support etc. Hehe... That one, no comment.

As for me, LYN GS is the cheapest if the item is not heavy.

From what I gathered while talking to them:-

1) They go by batches, it's like our bulk orders. So far they've completed 2. Each takes about 2-3 weeks to be filled (I think once 25 orders are reached). I was suppose to join the 2nd one but decided against it for warranty purposes. They should be starting on their 3rd batch now.

2) Warranty claims, if the product is defective in the first 30 days you can return the item and claim a full refund. After 30 days, you'll have to send the item back to the USA and RMA as per usual. The item will be returned to you via Newegg Malaysia. I suppose they'll bring it back with them during one of the bulks. So warranty could be an issue if your product requires RMA.

3) Not too sure what kind of business plan they're going to go with. Either start sourcing the items locally and provide local warranty (the prices won't be as nice as Newegg US) or they will continue bringing in items from Newegg US and stick with the bulk orders. Doesn't seem too good an idea, they might start up the same website with the US items, or something similar, but shipping prices will be normal like ebay/amazon etc. Can't say for sure what will happen with this.

If they were to compete here with great support like what they did in the states, it's gonna be good for the consumer.

The only good thing with Newegg US is that they have special daily/weekly/monthly discounts and promotions.

You can get items for a lot cheaper on those special discount days. Other than that, it's like any other online retailer. You still have to wait for delivery, you RMA if the item is problematic after a certain number of days, etc.

We only can look for monthly promotion as it will be a long time before they can get them here i think

You can lock in the purchase by ordering with Newegg Malaysia if I'm not mistaken so you get it for the discounted price. So I don't think that's a problem.

When I ordered the ram, I got it way cheaper than it's selling here (more than RM140 cheaper per set) because there was a sale on that day.

how do i pay by cash? Do they have an office or setup shop somewhere? Is the shipment cheaper than the bulk purchase we have in lowyat? For example, i wanna buy AMD's FX 8150. I was quoted USD35~40 from an US e-bay seller.

Edit: If i ordered using newegg china, will the shippings be cheaper?
