if their price is good, this is gonna end up shutting down some of the related business going on in malaysia.

They are using batch. Not just order and arrive like we do in Garage Sales. I think they doing bulk. Not sure how long but seems around > 2 weeks.

I see, after sales support how?
Like warranty issue, product issue.

They seems promising about warranty issue but I'm not a dealer so I won't say they have good support etc. Hehe... That one, no comment.

From what I gathered while talking to them:-

1) They go by batches, it's like our bulk orders. So far they've completed 2. Each takes about 2-3 weeks to be filled (I think once 25 orders are reached). I was suppose to join the 2nd one but decided against it for warranty purposes. They should be starting on their 3rd batch now.

2) Warranty claims, if the product is defective in the first 30 days you can return the item and claim a full refund. After 30 days, you'll have to send the item back to the USA and RMA as per usual. The item will be returned to you via Newegg Malaysia. I suppose they'll bring it back with them during one of the bulks. So warranty could be an issue if your product requires RMA.

3) Not too sure what kind of business plan they're going to go with. Either start sourcing the items locally and provide local warranty (the prices won't be as nice as Newegg US) or they will continue bringing in items from Newegg US and stick with the bulk orders. Doesn't seem too good an idea, they might start up the same website with the US items, or something similar, but shipping prices will be normal like ebay/amazon etc. Can't say for sure what will happen with this.

I think they are testing with the local market. hmm.gif
