I suspect the noise level increased due to the stainless steel pipes and the longer length, as compared to ori short steel headers.....

Try bullet bro. It confirm will help. I m using that to replace back decat position. EveN can gainback the FC gone of decat drive with bullet.

Well, when I test drove with Frank's colleague, Tony, he said cause of the rumbling metal sound is the cat. He added if put back, won't be so loud anymore.

Confused on what to do now, Jack you using 4-1 + decat right? so when u put bullet no more sound?

Kennypotatoes, what's this muffler box?

Decat jor sound will diff minor only..
Gurdian, you can consider bullet replace. Because decat or cat there still the same .

And yet you change the header to 4-2-1.... bravo....

What you did only changed the header (aka extractor) and removed the cat con.... but you are still using the ori muffler box and the end pipe (the box you see from the back of your car). In this muffler box, they exhaust pipe gos thru a series of bends (designed to increase back flow pressure to help with low end performance) and there are plenty of noise insulation foams in the box to help reduce the "noise" from the back..... thats y the ori exhaust "note" is relatively soft and silent....

To improve higher end performance, some ppl change the intake and exhaust, to increase the free flow of air from the intake (bigger snorkel, K&N Filter, Open Pod), change the header (from short ori to longer 4-2-1) remove cat con, remove 1st silencer box, and change the ori mufflers box to straight flow.... all done to ensure better and faster air flow, more air the easier the fuel burns and the better the high end performance lor....

numbers didn't match what SC had in hand from prev lancer dyno, but then again, different dyno back then, so kenot compare

Conclusion!!
2.0 extractor SAME with 1.8.
Using worst then Lancer (4-2-1)extractor. ours the 4 veli short then become one FAT.

Kenny must compare my dyno graph with Gurdian graph after he email you.

Yes Gurdian, can hear abit metal sound from bullet when only TEKAN Kuat.

interesting, cuz now regardless tekan kuat or not, you'll hear low rumbling metal sound.

but at this point, will prolly try to put back the cat first

Kinda funny, when Frank took it out to compare, he got kind of worried seeing the difference with mine. That is why he offered to reinstall stock back so at least the new dyno can see the difference

CVT not consistent la the dyno, very hard to compare even for the same car on the same dyno
