They still working on car, summore i got some work to do, so can't really sibuk at the work area.

yea sure let you all know if the power diff come back or not. The worksheet he write there "check engine oil level and no engine power" I scared he plug in to check ECU then keongkan liao.


btw, Frank@Super Circuit tells me I can drop by today to install 421 and do dyno liao.

Kenny, do you need to be there to do custom remap, or send you the graph can edi? Of course, when it is convenient for you.....

nothing cheaper unfortunately RM1100. another RM70 for installation. Not counting another RM80 for dyno.

who was it found RM850? pretty sweet price lor, but i dunno if i got time to run around to do this cuz my workload kinda heavy now.

Poadster I reach liao. Waiting for them to finish other cars.

My bumper fix liao.

Engine oil excess release liao.

But.......form shows, "Engine - tuning back"

I think hor ecu reset liao...engine feel sluggish weeeeeei...or maybe placebo effect Er? Just pumped full tank.

Frank also mentioned should only decat IF you are customizing ECU, because you can increase fuel input. Otherwise decat will decrease the torque.

No.1 where did u service it ???
No.2 usually i doubt they will do anything to the ECU , so dun worry about it too much..(do they have MUT3 , chances are they don't dare to touch the ECU)
No.3 ur's 1.8m or CVT, if cvt hard to check...if manual can rev till 7k means no problem.........but all in all....u r worrying too much....
aiya, dyno thing we collect and see can get 10 ppl or not, then we go discuss group price or we rent for half a day then split the bill la..........

It is laggy, RPM kuat kuat, but acceleration linear.

Ok so confirm, after 421 installation come find you first, then only go dyno.

Feedback on drive home with 4-2-1 + decat:

Definitely can feel more acceleration, more power.

But removing cat was a BIG mistake. It was too noisy for my taste. Especially during lower gears, can hear the "rough metal sound"

Frank@SC oso heard it, quite loud. He agreed to put back cat for me. Very nice of him. I just hope the sound will be eliminated after that. sad.gif

Also, they run dyno for me by mistake, so I have a chart to give K3 to analyze later

Unfortunately, I didn't have the foresight to run a dyno before installation in an effort to be cheapskate.

Frank@SC offered to put back stock, dyno, then reinstall and dyno again to see the increase. Otherwise the one dyno chart i have now is useless.

as for power, i definitely feel it at low end, easier to climb up to high speed

I called K3 just now(sorry ar bother you while driving), he'll still take a peek at the chart to study it.


But regardless, I really cannot advise to remove cat, the noise increase is very apparent.

Well, when I test drove with Frank's colleague, Tony, he said cause of the rumbling metal sound is the cat. He added if put back, won't be so loud anymore.

Confused on what to do now, Jack you using 4-1 + decat right? so when u put bullet no more sound?

numbers didn't match what SC had in hand from prev lancer dyno, but then again, different dyno back then, so kenot compare
