blame EA instead... Bioware can't do anything since EA pressure Bioware to do it the EA way...
can only hope Bioware will buy back itself and seperate from EA, like what Bungie(buy back itself from Microsoft) did ...

Bioware IS EA. EA own a major stake in the company, guys like Ray Muzyka are another string pulled executive that happily receives their paychecks from EA just like DICE.

Is indie developer other than Valve will ever able to make A++ games without publisher support?

With program such as kickstarter and digital distribution I am hoping for a future that developer can create and distribute game themselves without any publisher interference.

Where developer communicate directly with community and can give better support without publisher monetizing everything.

You're missing out on NOTHING if you buy NOTHING for the MULTIPLAYER section of MASS EFFECT 3. Complaining about a "gacha" type item as well? There's people that spent over thousands of ringgit and SGD in Maple/Dragon Nest/Aika for things that are only aesthetics, they're not even available via normal play unlike all the things the author managed to get by using cash in ME3.

>Author talks about using the money to buy loot in Infinity Blade II instead.

Really. This is just as stupid as the article telling you that you need 800 dollars to get the true mass effect 3 experience including the razer peripherals + Shunya Yamashita figurines.

agree. there's an option for you to buy with cash doesn't mean YOU HAVE TO BUY THEM.

1 round of bronze MP already give me roughly 15000 credits, which enuf for me to buy 3 newb (recruit) pack, 2 rounds already can afford to buy the Veteran Pack ($1) and 2 bloody newb pack if I want.

You get enough credit to purchase those packs even without paying EA anything. Seriously, somebody should just get their brain checked before writing a stupid article like that. It is just like saying playing TF2 (free game) cost me USD5000 coz I need to buy a PC, 6 monitors, a nice table, a nice chair, and get whatever item x 99999 in the game.
