i've tried this before

mrt+ phone = sgd100

food and drinks = sgd210 ( 7sgd per day )

assuming weekend also i spend sgd7 per day for food and dun go club or wayang or wateva entertainment.

rent = sgd600 all in.

walaoweh total = 910sgd.

if put his budget

he save sgd890.

that's RM2,225.00.

this one is just a mere try out. i can live like that since my office is only 10 minutes from my house. and then during weekend, i can simply buy food around my home area, without taking any public transport. smile.gif

Please stay at where you are. Don't come to JB.

Like you said, heard too much, saw too much.

I've been staying here for almost 2 years, cannot tell you it is completely safe to come. Nowhere is safe.

Foreigner can buy private condo in singapore too. But need to pay higher tax at 15% of the property price. In cash. And 20% down payment in cash too.
