Well consider food alone is around 450sgd. given ur bfast is below 4sgd, lunch os 7sgd, and dinner around 5sgd and below.
Utilities that depends. If the rent is 700sgd and below , also include the utilities, that's good enough.
Mobile phone, please use prepaid if ur looking around only 50 dollar per month. Mrt fare is around 50-100. Depends where you heading and where you work from your home.
Total is 1,300sgd. He still have 500sgd to play.

Singapore shopping mall always crowded one.
Last time went to Jurong West shopping mall
The walkway crowded with people, must very careful to avoid 'langgar' other people. sometime you just have to u-turn back and walk to other ways ...

normally life can be very easy in sg (dont go clubbing and fine dining)

rental for single - SGD500
transport bus and mrt - SGD100-200
makan makan - SGD400-500 per month (daily SGD10) weekend maybe more

you can actually save around 800 >

800 x 2.45 = RM1960

i've tried this before

mrt+ phone = sgd100

food and drinks = sgd210 ( 7sgd per day )

assuming weekend also i spend sgd7 per day for food and dun go club or wayang or wateva entertainment.

rent = sgd600 all in.

walaoweh total = 910sgd.

if put his budget

he save sgd890.

that's RM2,225.00.
