actually, if u looked at what u just posted..the rim size is the same right? the differences is just the width and the thickness of the tyre..so if u change to 55, ur thickness will be 55% which is a bit thin..

Eh...195/55/15 and 195/60/15 difference is just the sidewall thickness ma...width still the same.

yap..if go too low of the numbers..as in 60 to 55, the difference for the sidewall is about 1cm..and ur rolling radius also will become lower and will effect ur speedometer in a low margin

Actually no, you SHOULD NOT use 195/55/R15 if using original rim size. You can however safely use 205/55/R15 or 195/55/R16 (16" rim liao).

It is recommended that any changes in tyre diameter SHOULD NOT exceed more than 3% of stock tyre size. 195/55/R15 already exceeded that and might risk brake failure. 205/55/R15 is abt 1.41%. Ok. 195/55/R16 even better at 0.95% but have to change rim.

also can change to 205/45/17 to retain the same rolling radius and total diameter..
