Hi fellow BB9900 owner,
Looking at the fact that BB 9900 is over 2 years old, how much would the price depreciate? The reason I'm asking is I found a retailer here in Taiwan that sells off T-Mobile BB 9900 for ~ RM1500 without contract.
Without BIS service, would I still be able to make phone calls or SMS? I know that BIS service is needed for any Wi-Fi service? And only BB OS7 need that. This limitation is uplifted in the latest BB OS 10 such as the one employed by BB Q and Z series?

Hello guys, I am thinking of buying a Blackberry Bold 9900 while I'm out station to KL in the next few days. Using touch screen for typing for quite some time now and I've decided to give physical keyboard a try. From most reviews that I had read, 9900 is touted to have a superior keyboard tactile and ergonomic feedback. One might ask why purchase a 3 years old device? For me the answer is simple, I want a physical key for accepting/rejecting call and the price seemed reasonable now while waiting for Q20. The lack of such key on Q10, flat keyboard layout, and touch gesture had swayed me away. A couple of questions though before I jumped into this BB bandwagon:
1. Do I need to subscribe to BIS even if I just want to use Wifi?
2. Does any mobile carrier, particularly Digi still sell them as package?
3. Any good place to purchase within the vicinity of PJ, KL, Setia Alam or Klang Valley? I will be staying in Setia Alam for a couple of days.

I see. In this case is it wise to purchase it off any seller here on LYN? Or just visit their retail shop?
