QUOTE(Ic3pRInc3sSsIcA @ Feb 9 2012, 04:04 PM) im using turkbey romv30.3, siyah kernelv2.6.7. Seems abnormal.start using the fon at 7am(battery fully charged) receiving around 4-10 calls, n 10-15 sms, surfing fb, forum, for 30min approximately btw the icon show H+ during i on my data... btw i surf around few min n battery percentage start to drop 5-10% approximately, is that ok?? H+. but how many bar 1/4, or 3/4 or full? What's your screen brightness level? Using a few minutes and the battery drops 5-10% is odd, unless your screen brightness is set to 100% and your phone gets weak 3G signal. |

I am in JB as well, if you're on maxis, go tweet to them that your area has bad signal reception.
I am on maxis as well and skudai reception should be almost maxed out to be honest. Well, I unplugged my phone @ 6.30am this morning, and until now; 4.40pm with data on, it's at 84%. Signal H+ is 1/4 in my office, so the signal is flipflopping between Edge and 3G. Never used my phone much as I'm in office, but used the net for a few minutes during lunch and tea breaks. Added on February 9, 2012, 4:47 pmBtw, my phone is as follows: Speedmod K2-19 KK5 firmware No UV, no OC Also, when you see 3G, that's for the phone to save battery. H+ is just a faster 3G speed, but the cell tower is the same and the cell band is also the same. Either UMTS900 or UMTS2100 Added on February 9, 2012, 4:51 pm QUOTE(Ic3pRInc3sSsIcA @ Feb 9 2012, 04:39 PM) H+ bt most of the time is 1/4 n 2/4 ... some times got drop to 3G mayb my area( skudai ) maxis reception not so gud 50-80% screen brightness is TOO high.Drop it to minimum. No wonder your battery drains so fast. This post has been edited by MYstombox: Feb 9 2012, 04:51 PM |

Thats why you install a toggleswitch.
I have mine that sets 10% 30% 50% 100% Moving the top bar is dodgy, prefer using switches instead. |

Screen on time?
Speedmod is great, especially since it lowers the minimum brightness level compared to stock kernel. |

QUOTE(iwant2 @ Feb 9 2012, 05:15 PM) I got betterbatterystats already... Will tell u later coz phone is charging right now... I pressed back.. I don't understand you... But what about my other problem,I view this 1 thread only, press back, then it hang.. Using stock messaging, only this 1 person hand, others press back,ok only,,, "..this one person hand, others press back, ok only.." When I read that, it makes it seem like you're talking about a disabled person using the phone. Re-reading it a few times, do you mean inside the stock messaging app. This person's tread will cause the app to hang? If so, what's the message counter on it? Is it a very big tread? Maybe its time you enabled max counter @ 200 or something. This post has been edited by MYstombox: Feb 9 2012, 05:18 PM |

QUOTE(ZRong223 @ Feb 9 2012, 10:24 PM) I think my phone gets the symptoms from ahem apps as stated at the first page. Freeze the app. Sudden reboots occasionally and hangs while browsing. What should I do now? Factory reset? Or uninstall it. Added on February 9, 2012, 10:29 pm QUOTE(johnkor @ Feb 9 2012, 09:19 PM) Hopefully can back to the normal one cause now very messy , the radio is another one , the CSC aslo another one and aslo the PDA aslo another one Just flash an all in 1 package. Then factory reset after u flashed. Also, format your internal SD card so you start off with a totally blank phone. This post has been edited by MYstombox: Feb 9 2012, 10:29 PM |

@Pika, how do we know what to look out for on ECN?
As in, what are the symptoms before we turn it off? And any specific operators? |

Actually the green/light grey, in terms of CM7 when I used it before, denotes the data connection.
Although sometimes even in grey i can still connect to the internet. Then it usually turns green after that. |
