some update on my 1.8 FC:

1st full tank provided by SA: 450km, shown 9.6km/l, 90% city with ECON off

refilled RM80 ron95, completed 200km, 14km/l due to 80% highway around 80km/h to 110/h and 20% town with ECON on

Hi guys, what's the recommended oil for civic 2.0? Like Castrol GTX 10w-30 or Magnatec 10w-40?

I still haven't got my car but already want to know the oil to use for service, haha.

Where's the person who started the poll of Civics booked ? Looks like the numbers have gone up since. Today's the D day for my case. Thanks.

Never try the ex-version civic. But the tyres noise was loud on high speed compare to altis. Slight better than M3 but not as good as t.altis. Have to admit the elantra and 408 NVH were good.

Anyway, there is setting in player to fine tune the volume smartly based on your vehicle speed 

Finally reporting in. As for NVH, my 1.8 is much quieter than FD model as tried before. All the wheel arch are fully covered this time round. Suspensions are much more comfortable than FDs. Cornering is good too due to shorter wheel base where the FDs had problem for its rear wheel to catch up with the front wheel due to longer wheel base. I feel that this FB drives almost like the Accord 7th Gen. just to share, the 8th Gen Accord is a let down as compares to the 7th Gen Accord. For those who mentioned that NVH for new 2.0 is loud on highway could be due to PS3 tyres. Just like the current facelifted Accord is much quieter than the pre facelift model.

But somehow I think the road noise is quite obvious, not sure whether this is related to the Dunlop tyres.
I also feel a bit inconvenience as the audio do not have mute or pause function and the back seat are unfoldable.
Other than these, it is a great car to drive.

how much are you paying for the led side step? are you planning to install modulo as well?

I'm still waitin for mine ETA next week.

Should we send the car for waxing the moment we got it? According to my SA, it's their standard that they will wax it before delivery.

ours white colour need waxing every 6 months? to clear those stains and preserving the colour itself.

Mine actually have front and back (all four). It's really shining during night time.
