Just curious, what fuel do you guys use? Assume most will use 95 right?

i know the differences is only rm15k between the 1.8 and the 2.0 but my main worry is about fc of a car..i am currently driving a proton gen2..can anyone here be kind enought to givr opinions between the differences between the fc of my gen2 and the new civic 2.0? will the fc be better than the previous model of civic with the addition of econ button? pls

My mileage already 2200km got the car later than you. Travelled for 4 hours with 80km/h just now with ECON. IMiD showed 18.6km/l. 36.9L for 670.xxKM in total. What is HAMP by the way ? Thanks.

Michelin normally soft compound, Yokohama I guess should be similar.... premium tires normally perform better.

We only have these 4 option to replace engine oil.

SM 0W-20 (Fully-Synthetic)
SL 5W-40 (Fully-Synthetic)

SL 10W-30 (Mineral)
SM 5W-30* (Eco-Friendly)

Just because of the preventive maintenance interval is about 10,000km, better dont use SM 5W-30, SL 10W-30.

My concern is engine life and fuel saver. So, I choose SM 0W-20 (Fully-Synthetic) but need to get antiwear additive because this oil antiwear wasn't enough to get 10,000km interval.

SL 5W-40 (Fully-Synthetic) was a good oil in term of but this oil will drop my car performance.

AFAIK the SC tell me about SM 0W-20 price after discount about RM161 = SC said 5L. Not sure about liter differ in manual said 3.5L.. but he quote me for 2.0L engine.

Anyone having information about this?

Your opinion is invalid i afraid, since they promise to bring down the car price and cheaper fuel price. i dont know how they will do it but it is really tempting

Just got a call from SA re illuminated side step. Was informed RM280 for front both side only. If want back both side, need to pay another RM210? strange. Anybody has installed? =)

My SA did explain about the warranty coverage and servicing packages when I collected my car. He even photocopied the engine oil brochures for me

It is given and understood. When u have such a low viscosity lubricant, u will need to sacrifice on antiwear properties, UNLESS they are willing to blend wiv good additives but this will cost the price to shoot up.....

Just got a quote from my SA for the modulo bodykit + duck tail spoiler for 2.3k izzit worth for it? or should i just do it on my own aftermarket? need some advice.

Thanks, zweimmk. For me, the interior is also important and I am trying to come to terms with the beige (or is it grey?) lower level of the dashboard and next to the gear . No way to change that right?

Anyway, I know you have already bought the 1.8S for your wife but what are your thoughts about waiting for the facelifted 1.8? Did you wrestle with whether or not you should wait a bit longer for that? I heard that Honda has already planned production soon.

Again, worried to make the wrong choice especially if facelifted 1.8 is the same price. Your thoughts?

I could hear excessive wind noise coming from the driver's side around the top of the window's seal. Very annoying and noticeable even if I turn up the volume for the radio.
