Scoreline doesn't do justice to how Atleti played today. They were in this match, put some real pressure on Real Madrid, and a few stupid blunders make this look a lot worse than it was for them.

Deserved win for RM, of course, but Bilbao or Sevilla might be able to do a bit more than Atletico were able to do if RM keep playing this way as they've done for a month now.... never-mind Bayern and FCB.

Are you sure, I watched the game and Bayern were the better team before Dortmund scored the goal that changed the tempo of both team.

Robben missed a sitter and a penalty in the space of 2 minutes.

But, the hell with them, if we can play better and better from now on, we can take them. Just hoping that everybody will have enough rest and fit enough for the Sporting match.

Actually if Real can't beat Barca, Real can't win anything this year. One of these days, we have to beat them. If it's not this year, the next will be the same old story again.

We can at least hope for a draw and Mourinho sure gonna play safe given his track records and the team's current situation.

But can't say the same with the players though. I hope it won't be as ugly as before.

It's fair to say that because it's quite clear Cristiano struggle to get pass his marker and always ended up giving up the possession cheaply.

But the last 2 games against them Cristiano did well and although I'm not putting much hope on him to adapt more in terms of teamwork spirit, I do believe he's the kinda player that can change the outcome with the slightest of chance.

He's a goal machine. He will score if the team can play better. So I say we regroup, enough of overcautious or suicidal attack. We play like we always play.

By the time we face Barca, we'll have everybody fit to play *knock on wood* and hopefully, we'll play to win because I'm tired of hearing that we're far behind them.

They're getting comfortable parking the bus. But it won't be long. Benzema and Maria are warming up.

They were clearly tired and it doesn't help when we're playing one of the relegation zone team which made them overconfident and played like they'll win no matter what happens until Gijon scored. That' when we started to show up.

I'm not gonna b**** about resting players anymore. It's too late for that. Madrid needs to go all out.

Sahin was still very cautious in terms of his passes. He should've understood that we have only 2 CMs, and one of them is Khedira. Sahin should be more direct, dictating the attack, opening chances for AM and CF but, instead of doing that he went on to play safe and pass the ball to Ramos and the latter took the chance to deliver a few lobs into the opponent's penalty box. One of it which was headed by Higuain, which resulted in our 1st goal.

1st half was so bad that Khedira (the more defensive type of player) looked like the player with most touches the ball, involved in a lot of final third passes and attacked right in the middle of Gijon's defensive line. That's how bad it was. No offense to Khedira but a squad stacked with one of the most talented attacking force in the world and Khedira was doing all the attack?!

Are you saying after all Arbeloa did on the pitch, he still didn't stood out? Gosh. He's probably been the talking point for those who watched Real's previous match or should I say matches.

He's as bad as a professional player can be. No matter what's his reason is, I still find it's hard to accept the way he played in this season. Lass made a better RB than him. That says a lot.
His positioning is weak. Pepe covered the space left by him several times. The 1st goal was his fault. He was not at his place, not just once but most of the time, he were everywhere but his place. Then the silly clumsy clearance in front of casillas, the stupid dribbling that gave away possession cheaply and of course his crossings. Sigh.

I'm gonna cut him some slack and say that he's tired from all the matches. That's all. No point in bashing him anymore.

Actually, it's harsh but, it's still a penalty and even if it's soft or whatever, we all know, that the referee is the one at fault and kinda stupid in La Liga. Can't blame the teams. The RFEF should be abolished. Hope we can import some German referees, they're good, lenient and at least they tried to make rational calls.
