Ps. If thermostat NOT needed for engines in our climate, wld not Car Makers save lots by not installing them in cars sold here? Huh?

I think you got confuse between thermostat (will let coolant flow to engine block etc when reach certain temp.) and radiator fan switch (will trigger the radiator fan when reach certain temp.)Added on February 15, 2012, 5:00 pm 3 bars is normal. the one that will keep the fan running is to direct the fan wiring (not/skip to use fan switch).
