noise from front tyre reduced 80-90% i can say. no more tin kosong like sound. so can hear music clearer than before. mind you that once the sound from fender eliminated (which i think the loudest), u can clearly hear the engine and road noise. but not on low speed, only at high speed. i'm thinking of floor soundproofing later. wind noise also visible but tolerable. this modding things really can burn ur wallet  tongue.gif
i'v experience a weird situation twice, when speeding (high rev), esp overtaking, the car seems to steer to left. actually my car alignment is a bit off to left but not that much or noticable. mybe i didn't hold the steering tight enough  laugh.gif

He removed the thermostat that controls the fan, means the fan will keep runnng non stop as long as the engine is running.

3 bars is normal.

I think you got confuse between thermostat (will let coolant flow to engine block etc when reach certain temp.) and radiator fan switch (will trigger the radiator fan when reach certain temp.)

the one that will keep the fan running is to direct the fan wiring (not/skip to use fan switch).

I know.

Thing is, there is no leaks, even full throttle on the jack, did not show any leaks, but yet the temperature rose up.

Small leak on gasket would be likely.

But if i change gasket and it still overheats, probably selling this junk. mad.gif

so top overhaul is RM 700 or just gasket?

No choice, SE price up, but plastic part still the cheapskate as BLM/FL, plus your absorber is hard...
Since i got my car until now almost 2.5 years, i nv stop to fix those rattling issue by myself,
i only can say, improve alot compare to stock, almost no rattling sound except extremely uneven road.

Just can give you some hints if you want to DIY solve it.
For dashboard, use sponge and insufflex...not to paste on it, is to find out by part by part knocking, then force insert those material into the narrow empty space...

Also the center console, if you press with your finger, you will hear 'nyek nyek' contact noise, this is due to direct contact between two different plastic, this one have to dismantle and stick the clear tape on the edge to isolate the edge from directly contacting.

For door, deadening is the only effective way to solve it.

This weekend if i got time i will post some snap shot the location i insert those insufflex/sponge into the dashboard.

to add.... at passenger door C pillar, the triangle black plastic.
