It's true no one gets anything joining this thread ... Nothing materialistic ... rolleyes.gif
What one gets in a Forum is something NOT measurable but worth more than $$$ can buy!!

The feeling that one is NOT alone...
the feeling of belonging...
the feeling that one has a place to seek help/support/understanding...
and lots more...

For those who can meet in person, we (who kenot) do envy yu...we wish we cld...not our choice not to meet...
And so we do NOT begrudge yr good fortune 2b able 2do so & share in real life...we are happy yu cld...

However, pls treat all...who come in here, sharing similar interests, same love for our rides...EQUALLY...at least FAIRLY? wink.gif

Posts like below shld NEVER happen :

What abt those who dun post their responses & stay away?
I rber someone asking why the Forum has been "quiet" recently... tongue.gif

It is a wise, experienced & understanding TS who can foster unity, friendship, sharing & caring among all who read, visit or post in his threads. True?

Let's b True Bros, wherever we may be & fulfill the main objective of such a Forum...

Over to yu, TS & ALL who love their Sagas... notworthy.gif

And fr latest "move", me juz feel that this Forum gonna b abit "sesat" if continue in same direction... sad.gif

Then we'll hv various "classes" of forummers labelled in here eg VIPs, non-VIPs and mayb later VVIPs?
This wld not b a healthy sign...for Saga lovers here... doh.gif

Sincerely hope ALL reg Bros (esp TS) gets my drift...? notworthy.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

still overheating..and coolant disappeared again rclxub.gif

din overflow into reservoir also.. nor is there oil in the radiator unsure.gif
*
Chk & replace, if necessary, the radiator cap...
Water can b lost thru a probably faulty/worn cap... tongue.gif
Dunno but found out my FL (so possibly BLM, too) using radiator cap of higher value 1+ ie not usual value of 0.9...

The coolant would flow back into the reservoir if the cap is faulty....

But reservoir still half full (or half empty, if you're a pessimist)
*
Since no other signs, feel possibly loss of water as STEAM...so not overflow into reservoir....loss via cap... sad.gif
Chk pressure value of cap...if not 1.1, try replacing it ... the common value only 0.9!

UPDATE :
There must be a leak in the cooling system somewhere...
Reason?
If no leak, then on engine cooling down, vacuum created in sys wld "suck" coolant fr reservoir to fill up space.
So if it didn't, the most common culprit is the rad cap...beside at hoses & their joints...
Worst scenario is head gasket blown...but yu oledi eliminated that, rite? tongue.gif

No both is tightly closed. I just don't understand why my inside the red light alarm keep blinking, then because of that I can lock my car with remote.

Until I start the car then only now the red light alarm stop the red blinking light. It's so scarie T_T
*
That red blinking alarm switch is the Alarm Reset Switch.
Hv 2press it 2reset alarm if it goes off. It also blinks when the alarm is activated. tongue.gif

Simple logic :
If everything has been working well & fine all this while BUT now something is not...what does that tell yu?
Of course, something is NOT working as it shld be! Correct?

Removing thermostats hv been a common action & simple/easy solution adopted by many mechs...since time inmemorable!
Not need to investigate further. Instant cure. Customer happy! Period. whistling.gif

Juz 1 question...

How is it that the car has been working as it shld FOR YEARS and now having a working thermostat suddenly becomes unnecessary? rolleyes.gif

If it's not working properly, replace it! Not totally remove it from system!!

In pre ECU/MPI engines, removing thermostat means engine running below optimum temp for lots longer & engine efficiency is compromised! sad.gif

water is good rclxub.gif

Firstly, coolant/water juz kenot disappear wan! Has 2b lost as a liquid or gas ie steam. tongue.gif

There shld be stains/coolant deposits if there's water loss...unless loss is into internal engine block parts.
However, yu've mentioned all chk-ed out ok!

So only not easily detectable loss is as steam...

Hv yu tried running engine stationary & chk for steam escaping? From rad cap & all joints of cooling system? Even engine block areas?

Best wishes & Good Luck!!

ps. Can use a small metal pc eg aluminium or even a small mirror 2help detect steam condensation on it as yu move it arnd suspect areas?

Personally, me trust & prefer outside mechs...esp the experienced, pro-active ones with initiative!! tongue.gif

Me only go to SCs only for scheduled services during warranty period...for all my rides...in case unlucky enuf to kena BIG trouble!!
Not need to be vmad.gif mad.gif sweat.gif

ps. SC mechs trained only to do scheduled servicing & replacement of parts due2 wear & tear...mostly are poor troubleshooters, if yu get wat I mean...
They only know wat is 2b done after HQ sends them a memo on the problem... whistling.gif

Added on February 19, 2012, 12:10 pmpps. The good mechs @SCs leave after they've got the experience & the capital to start/open their own private workshops!
Turnover of mechs @SCs is VERY high... sad.gif

QUOTE(NewbieBetta @ Feb 19 2012, 12:44 PM)
anyone encounter same problem as I do?

When im driving on highway speed above 90km/h can feel already. when aircon kick in, you will slightly felt a jerk (this is normal). but my case, I felt the jerk and also a sound (like "CIT", sound like the blow off sound). what i assume must be when the aircon kick in,the mechanical part on the fan make such noise.

plan to have it rectified at my 20k service. another 2.5k to go.
*
Probably a "slipping" belt?
Caused by sudden load when aircon pulley is engaged to compressor?

If can re-enact sound with car stationary but revving engine to similar rpm, then spraying belt with water wld identify/confirm it. tongue.gif
