The FLX suspension is actually better, more firm and u get a solid feel when going over bumps, a bit like european cars. U get less of that "floating" feel.

hi,
currently i used michelin xm2 for my 14" tires.
turns out it produce alot of noise and its bugging me.
have to turn on radio volume more when i speeding.
any solution or suggestion to reduce the noise?

i tot so but the noise is louder when driving into highway..is not like braking or rims problem as per checking until now.

not sure but last time check ntg problem with the tires..newly bought on last september 2011.

Do we have a certain testing that can be done to check tires noise produce or somthing??

All Tyre will quiet for 1st 10k km, after that i bet all the same...

My CC5 tyre damn quiet when i installed on last year June, but after 15k km now, seems like almost no different with my old damn silverstone M3... doh.gif

In my previous car, I changed from stock Yokohama tyres to Dunlop (imported version) and road noise was drastically reduced.

But do bear in mind that most tyre brands offer different models for:
- comfort (meaning quiet but not so good for speed)
- speed (but gives harsh ride and not so gd for comfort) etc
So choose for whatever is your priority. Dun think there is a tyre model that suits all conditions and if they say have, it's advertising gimmick.

Other ways to cut down road noise is of course, sound proofing.
