If u make a mess or alter with the ignition system..surely it will void the warranty

I believe he meant the manual trans since he talked about that on the previous phrase...

That should be the sound of the ABS activated + some vibration. If the car work perfectly fine after that & there's no check light appear on the supervision cluster, the car should be fine & working normally.

If that's the case..i believe it's normal. I have activated my ABS several time when i jammed my brake on a slippery or sandy road surface..& it did produce a loud sound & the brake paddle also vibrates.

Should be 5 x 114.3. Else..not match

Try to find the M3GPS X5 SE with HD format. That should support the 7" HU screen. Proven..i'm using it last time. I got the copy, but i'm @ Kedah..so how?

Added on June 5, 2012, 7:31 amIf i'm not mistaken, the cabin air filter is the active carbon type. Besides filtering the airborne particles, it should also filter the foul odour or smelly air. It will not 100% eliminate the smell however, but will reduce it

Yupp..i use method 1 from day 1 until now (2 years 2 months+). My car electronics still works perfectly fine until now. i've stressed this so many times..if in any way, the first method will ruin your car's electronics, KIA will surely not allowing this method to practice in the first place. For me, using the second method to start the car is like beating the purpose of having the start button (to ease the starting procedure).

One more thing, i did not warm up the car before driving it. Every morning going to office, i just start the car & drive away immediately..no time to waste..hehe. But i will drive it @ a moderate speed for the first say 2-3km Again, nothing wrong with the car at least for now...
