Guys, need some advise if there is anything wrong with my car. I jammed break yesterday (nearly had an accident) and there were 2 loud crash sound coming from below the car. is this normal?
*
That should be the sound of the ABS activated + some vibration. If the car work perfectly fine after that & there's no check light appear on the supervision cluster, the car should be fine & working normally.

The car is working perfectly and i jammed break again earlier just to see if the 2 loud crash sound will happen. And it did, quite loud actually.
*
If that's the case..i believe it's normal. I have activated my ABS several time when i jammed my brake on a slippery or sandy road surface..& it did produce a loud sound & the brake paddle also vibrates.

I have installed PAPAGO onto my new HU SD card and it works. Unfortunately, I copied this from my friend's GPS SD card and its PAPAGO X3. The screen shown is too small at 4" compare to our 7" HU screen. So far have anyone else installed PAPAGO and able to fill up its screen and whats its version eg X5 or X8...? Pls PM me on details. Thanks.

Try to find the M3GPS X5 SE with HD format. That should support the 7" HU screen. Proven..i'm using it last time. I got the copy, but i'm @ Kedah..so how? tongue.gif

The filter is to filter foreign materials such as sands, dust etc, not smell.
If u take out the filter, u can see a lot of sands and dust on the filter. Periodically cleaning of the filter (or you can change it frequently if you can afford) will help to give a better air flow, thus better cooling.
*
If i'm not mistaken, the cabin air filter is the active carbon type. Besides filtering the airborne particles, it should also filter the foul odour or smelly air. It will not 100% eliminate the smell however, but will reduce it

I have no answer for this as I am not expert, just a typical car user (I do know some cars, the procedure is to wait till the airbaglight turn off before starting the engine).
I start the car using the 1st method, my car already 1 year.
Another bro here, Izputra, he mentioned he uses method 1 and his car already 2 years.
I believed either way is OK.

But if you are worry, then u can use the 2nd method to start the car.
*
Yupp..i use method 1 from day 1 until now (2 years 2 months+). My car electronics still works perfectly fine until now. i've stressed this so many times..if in any way, the first method will ruin your car's electronics, KIA will surely not allowing this method to practice in the first place. For me, using the second method to start the car is like beating the purpose of having the start button (to ease the starting procedure).

One more thing, i did not warm up the car before driving it. Every morning going to office, i just start the car & drive away immediately..no time to waste..hehe. But i will drive it @ a moderate speed for the first say 2-3km tongue.gif Again, nothing wrong with the car at least for now...
