guys i want to ask, one of the different btwn carb ninja250 and efi ninja250 is the fuel consumption right?
how significant is it, anyone can share? any other important different i must be aware of? i dont have a bike b4, i wanted to get new er6n, but since im newbie, i wanted to start with something more forgivable.. but new ninja i think is expensive for 250 class.. around 22-24k.. if topup another 9k can get 600cc already.. so thinking to get 2nd 250.. wont lose so much if i wanna to let go later on.. consider it a learning bike for me.. is it a wise choice? *i prefer older ninja bcoz got fuel meter |

(suppose you have ever ride any bigger than 150 cc bikes). - bold part, actually you can get cheaper, unless you pay cash. if not of course the whole bike will be a bit expensive, imho buying cash or putting higher deposit is better unless you are rich people who can afford pay expensive monthly. - mind you er6 is naked sport bike, NOT good for learner bike, er6 are more to experienced or seasoned bikers who decide to upgrade from 250cc or lower cc bike. - if you are more to street riding rather than performances, better get cbr250r, if not kawa 250r is perfect for you. - like car, buying second hand bike need more proper homework, make sure check with the owner about the bike condition, how much the mileage, etc good luck hunting your first bike |

QUOTE(ichi_24 @ Feb 8 2012, 06:14 PM) the first question, - you mention you don't own a bike, but did you have experience riding one and have proper license? (suppose you have ever ride any bigger than 150 cc bikes). yes i have. although i dont own a bike, but i learnt ride using my friends 125z. i;d ride my friends versys and duke. but never try 250 - bold part, actually you can get cheaper, unless you pay cash. if not of course the whole bike will be a bit expensive, imho buying cash or putting higher deposit is better unless you are rich people who can afford pay expensive monthly. - mind you er6 is naked sport bike, NOT good for learner bike, er6 are more to experienced or seasoned bikers who decide to upgrade from 250cc or lower cc bike. because im interested in naked / streetfighter bike. hmm.. from what i know, naked easier to handle compare to fairing, no? some ppl consider er6n as beginner bike - if you are more to street riding rather than performances, better get cbr250r, if not kawa 250r is perfect for you. cbr250 also is in my mind. but i keen to look for 2nd bike as i can get cheaper since plenty 2nd bike around (and hopefully can upgrade sooner).. but theres not much 2nd cbr250 around as it is new. another reason is, from info i got, ninja 250 better at highway because top more than cbr, where as cbr better in town. i'll be travelling from shah alam --> temerloh often. so i'll be more on highway rather than city road.. - like car, buying second hand bike need more proper homework, make sure check with the owner about the bike condition, how much the mileage, etc good luck hunting your first bike |

QUOTE(hyperx @ Feb 8 2012, 05:25 PM) guys i want to ask, one of the different btwn carb ninja250 and efi ninja250 is the fuel consumption right? dude, just get an er6. sooner or later u gonna jump to the >500cc wagon...so why not now? how significant is it, anyone can share? any other important different i must be aware of? i dont have a bike b4, i wanted to get new er6n, but since im newbie, i wanted to start with something more forgivable.. but new ninja i think is expensive for 250 class.. around 22-24k.. if topup another 9k can get 600cc already.. so thinking to get 2nd 250.. wont lose so much if i wanna to let go later on.. consider it a learning bike for me.. is it a wise choice? *i prefer older ninja bcoz got fuel meter why u need a learning bike at first? after some few weeks with an er6, i'm sure everyone can master it. I saw alot of ladies riding an er6 at my place. ER-6n is pretty much not a learning bike, but it is sure very easy to ride it.. Hence the name Easy Ride This post has been edited by suicideroach: Feb 8 2012, 06:57 PM |
