Tried that and still gets pc freeze
The funny thing is after I manually set the main timing and speed as long as I don't set the volt over 1.65 and above it will be stable, I'm puzzled now
*
have you done stress test?

5 minutes into stress test pc freeze whenever i set to 1600mhz  sweat.gif with all those main timings and voltage manually set
so now is it the RAM problem, or is my pc?
*
hard to say. if you near me, maybe i can test them on my rig

hmm my mem test got no error but only 2 passes then i give up
but something unexpected came up, my b1 and b2 slots when testing with single module primary timing were 6-6-6-20 instead of 9-9-9-24 which i set on the bios
*
wow very tight timing there.. 6-6-6 at what speed

good or not?
*ya member of putera..i know you also.
*
very good oredy since you are not OC your ram. for me, i'll OC the ram,
not at higher speed but at optimum score with stock voltage.

you will gain more score when you can OC the cpu/nb. increase the fsb, use lower multiplier processor,
for the ram use 1 step lower speed at divider (1600-->1333).

this is using 1600 divider, CL9 but cpu/nb at stock speed
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

this using 1333 divider at CL8 and cpu/nb speed at 2400Mhz
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

both were at almost same processor clock, 3.3Ghz

in term of OC, i rather choose 2Gb stick over 4Gb or 8Gb. and lower latency (CL8 or CL7)

or you can consider this ram crucial

nice ram you got there. what chip's there. post some picture of the chip.
mine using elpida BDBG (2GbX2) single sided only can do 1333 CL9 OC to 1600 CL9 1.56Vdimm..
if set to CL8 or CL7 hard to boot even with 1.65V...

your rams r running at higher speed, not? i c 952@cl6  shocking.gif

both stick double sided(heard the saying alot, but i hav no idea wats the difference wiv single-sided)  icon_question.gif

*how come your aida benchmark shows nb speed but mine shows fsb ratio, i c same version... blink.gif
*
yup actual photo. this is mine
user posted image

and no, you are wrong. that one is Gskill which is can run 1600 7-8-7 @1.5V.
i'm talking about my KVR (Kingston Value Ram) 2Gb 1333Mhz
only manage to run at 1600 9-9-9 1.57V

move your cursor (mouse) DRAM:FSB RATIO there, change to North Bridge Clock

where do you get the manual info. all my ram that using elpida (BDBG, BFBG etc) is using exactly the elpida chip with their code.
your is relabeled? i think yours is using kingston chip not elpida...

the 2nd voltage is cpu-nb voltage iinm...
