I would suggest those who are interested to test ICS, try the China leak and not the version from sammobile - based on forums seems a lot of issues - wifi, camera, screenshots not working or not working well and some phone call issues too

yes generally true depending on your combination of such apps
other common issues sudden reset n phone auto shutdown
i never faced such issues at all in my android as i never install such apps. i fully believe in supporting developer by paying for all my paid apps

never used those samsung hubs. i freeze all.of it
camera tremendous improvement on ics rom now can match galaxy nexus speed n virtually near zero shutter lag

You can freeze any apps you dont use eg for me all the samsung apps n hubs, email, live wallpapers, games
Not recommended to freeze core app eg tw launcher, contacts, calendar, gmail

No need. Leave everything as default

If you read the thread there are too many issues with this leak. Infact some users recommend the china leak over it

Something wrong on first day. Second day normal battery usage
With 3g on always n fb tweeter refresh every hour overnight 4% drop over 7 hours. Quite similar to previous LA6 build. Now phone can go to deep sleep mode

Yes Max 1.2ghz but practically dont see any significant difference maybe gaming. As I dont play games so cannot comment further

Without flashing gapps many core app not available including maps. I think you need original maps in place to install Brut maps

Added on February 19, 2012, 7:16 pmI would say so far all 3rd party launchers I have tested lags slightly on the NOTE. It is one of the better launchers besides ADW EX and Launcher Pro. However this lag is completely eliminated in the ICS rom
The Go Launcher whether good or not , test yourself to assess ; its main features is its extra widgets. Using a 3rd party launcher will disabled most of the samsung widgets

Send in service center to check for hardware problem if you cannot even locate location on Google maps
This is basic test no need to use any 3rd party GPS assist apps

Substancer n rocketrom or the stock official rom

Use market enabler fake telco. I dont know why few other users same issue saying cannot find Google maps

And rocket romm 22 definitely has it

Kingston even class 10 is indeed slow and I am using it in my Tab. My Sandisk class 4 and DNA class 10 is way much better than it at least by 2-3 times on file transfer

If you are on budget - try DNA or Kingmax . Or get Sandisk at a slight premium only
Forget about even Transcend, Apacer, - I have bad experience with them - unreliable

By default all apps are installed in the hidden 2 GB partition. Most android apps are small in size , few MB only - meaning you can install up to 100-200 apps. For game apps, a well designed game will install its game data on the visible partition of about 11 GB. Unless you install a lot of Gameloft games the internal SD card and its viewable partition is more than enough. I have about 150 apps plus few games and I still have 50 % left in the 2 GB partition and 50 % space left in the viewable 11 GB partition
With the external SD card, you can move apps to ext sd card if you wish but this does not work for all apps. When ICS is on the Note, you cannot have this option of even moving apps to ext SD card anymore
I use the ext sdcard just to store my nandroid backups, titanium backup, SMS backup, music , ebooks, videos

Only the last 2 entries are micro SD cards. The rest are full size SD cards and CF cards
