for those who using GamerzRom.. what's GamerzRom Manager & AppFreezer used for?
*
ROM manager is used to download OTA updates and flash ROMS, etc.

App freezer is used to freeze apps that you don't use, yet don't want to uninstall but seem to run themselves.

E.g. maps

No, not normal, around 38-42 is considered normal.

Shut down your phone and let it cool before rebooting.

It is probably a rogue app running.

It's like how MYstombox said it. I can only get up to 50 degree celsius when I'm playing GPU intensive games with the phone plugged in charging

Speedmod kernel will give root access.
If SU app doesn't appear, you can download it from market.

MIUI u need to use CM7 based kernel
Go for NEO, I am testing it now and it seems better than glitch (which really glitched the phone) and fugu which wasn't that good I think.

But fugu and NEO (platypus) provides lower min brightness which I prefer.

Also, you need to flash a CMW compatible recovery before attempting a CM7/MIUI flash.

Well, my brother is using MIUI on SGS, he said the latest rom not very stable due to FCing, But i think its due to permissions.

No word from him on battery life.

I myself am on CM7. Battery life is decent, thinking of switching to MIUI to see.

I've tried most of the GB roms and i still think froyo is better for my SGS..
simplicity 2.2.1 is my last GB rom before i'm back to ultimate v8.2..

no more auto-close apps, no more tiny lag whatsapp... everything runs smooth...
I hope a stable ICS rom will be available soon that can match or give me better experience compare to this good old froyo rom.
