It's like how Pikachu said.  Flashing kernels won't affect Thunderbolt! I suppose.  Only when u flash a new rom (be it wipe or non-wipe) then Thunderbolt! will be affected because it's in the system folders.  Which means, after flashing a different rom, you'll have to reflash Thunderbolt!, but since GamerzRom 6.2 comes with Thunderbolt! pre-installed, you don't have to re-install Thunderbolt!  clear enough?
Maybe samsungXP misunderstood the wipe/non-wipe thing
If nothing is wrong with it, y bother changing?   Didn't have the mentioned problems with Semaphore myself

adw launcher lag.use go launcher better

daily usage im using go launcher but when want to change to gaming mode, i switch to all default (adw launcher, locker etc.) then hit gaming mode

so, me not using adw launcher for daily usage

u know what.. b4 this i always use simplicity rom.. then tried gamerzom n back to simplicity.. coz i only use the stable rom, smooth, and suitable for daily use only..

then after 1st time tried this ICSSGS RC4.2, i stick with it.. mean im satisfied with it also :-) btw.. yes i use semaphore kernel since 1st day with this rom.. but heard some people said devil kernel also good..
wee.. so how was the rom? good eh? compared to icssgs n ths?

im not so sure but i guess not.. coz inside my phone got .mp4 n .flv file.. for sure during gingerbread can play both with stock player.. but with this ICS.. only .mp4 can n .flv cant.. other format didnt give a try yet..

but so far i only use mobo player so that i cn play the.other video format than .mp4 :-)

i was using ICSSGS Rc4.2 with stock kernel.. it sucks!, but after listening to gajahwhite and i flashed semaphore kernel, it was such a major improvement!

and yeah i migrated from gamerzrom to ics! no regrets in that! battery life also quite good..

cannot comment on gps yet cause i have no tried it yet..

Just flash ICSSGS first bocz if u flash sempahore then flash the rom,it will b back to stock ICSSGS kernel then u need to flash semaphore back.....

Yes wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache partition and also Wipe Dalvik Cache after flash..

Jz noticed that Viber is not working in Team ICSSGS RC4.2... 
Day 2 of Team ICSSGS RC4.2... battery surprisingly good... 

for safe way.. flash latest stock rom via odin.. then flash icssgs..
if me, i would recommend icssgs rc4.2.. even this is my 1st time with ics n this rom, i really satisfied with it and it really stable for daily use..

for those who edit gps.conf like i post before, im at penang now and just now using sygic for navigate, it really accurate.. safely arrived at my destination.. hehe..

not really sure.. but that is how i did..

its better if u flash back to stock rom first (XXJVU) and then proceed to custom rom ICSSGS...

Why worried so much? If you are going to flash, just flash. If failed, revert back to XXJVU, root + CWM it, then flash the sucker ICSSGS and there you go, done!

FYI, im not running on ICS.

But normally such case happens is because you have multiple "Contacts Account".

try go into Phonebook settings, and see if there's any Display option, whereby you can set which "Account" phonebook to display only.
