I Already flash to ICS elite v6, the apex launcher is nice with a lot of great features, but why I always get FC when do some setting? Anyone experience this?

I solved by issue already, my titanium backup version, dl the latest n it able to restore without error 

one more question, for the 1st time flash ICSSGS RC4.2 from other rom, does anyone facing bootloop between the "google" logo and "GT-I9000" logo??

1st I tot this time trouble already, need to re-fresh other gingerbread and flash ICSSGS  again. Then i take out and put the batt back, then go to recovery but cant go in. after awhile, it start to resume flashing the rom again. finally it working fine now.

Anyone facing this scenario? Cos i need to help my gf to flash her phone too..jz worry facing the same problem again...scare scare...

i think i've read at xda you have to wipe data/cache and flash again. not sure though

never encounter this issue on SGS

Mount your phone in USB mode, try deleting these folders in SD card using PC:
1. thumnails (in DCIM\)
2. com.android.providers.media (in Android\data\)
3. com.google.android.gallery3d (in Android\data\)

After that unmount,
Settings > Manage apps > all > media storage/content - FC and clear data and cache
Then reboot your phone.

Make sure you have a backup of your photos.  If doesn't work, just delete the folders above then recopy your photos over then umount your phone properly

Guys, anyone experiencing bad gps signal in ICS??
My GPS use to lock very fast and there are always alot of satalites detected.
Now I even need to wait for almost 30mins to get it to lock.
Sumtimes I have more than enuf satalite to connect, but they are nt strong individually, so the phone can't lock.

Will changing modem help this?

btw.. for those who want to fix their GPS, can follow this.. i just found this formula and already applied to my phone, so far so good

1) go to /system/etc/
2) backup gps.conf (copy paste)
3) edit gps.conf
4) follow the input as below

NTP_SERVER=asia.pool.ntp.org
XTRA_SERVER_1=0.my.pool.ntp.org
XTRA_SERVER_2=1.asia.pool.ntp.org
XTRA_SERVER_1=3.asia.pool.ntp.org
SUPL_HOST=supl.google.com  <<---- default (didn't touch anything here)
SUPL_PORT=7276  <<---- default (didn't touch anything here)

btw.. i use Root Explorer apps, and it make us able to view & edit .conf file

hmm. i think is is the same as using the gpsfix to lock gps.
but i didn't use data, so this method won't be useful to me?

Edit: most importantly, my phone USED to detect a lot of satalites in KL/Selangor.
