what you guys think of this?

http://gizmodo.com/5880520/stop-ruining-yo...h-a-stupid-case

how many of you S2 is naked?
*
Opinions I guess.

Mine has SP but no casing. Previous android had no casing/SP.
Personally prefer it naked as well, but screen is scratch resistant not scratch proof. Accident happen then kantoi. So this phone I put SP. Case n all dent / scratch etc I don't mind. But I generally handle with care, so it won't happen unless accident

Btw there's no restore function in appzorter, if you want to revert to your old sorting.

Can do TW backup of system data --> TWLauncher and restore if don't like though. But think must add widgets balik, can't really remember. I only use the compact function in appzorter laugh.gif

Do you know what's a gyro sensor for?
If it maintains in the center, it means its calibrated correctly.

If it moves, it means the gyro isn't correct.

The gyro should maintain position at center no matter where the phone is tilted. That's the function of a gyro.

If it moves, and if you want it to move, you should be looking at an accelerometer, gravity sensor/artificial horizon or tilt sensor. Not a gyro.
*
Never tried the calibration, but shouldn't the ball logically spin on one axis when you move the phone around. If not how to know if ball not moving is coz gyro is good all gyro completely KO laugh.gif

K3G gyro sensor has 3 axis.
It's a calibration tool, not a testing tool.
It should maintain central position no matter where you turn and tilt the device.

Obviously if the device is KO, then there is a possibility that the ball moves.

To test, go download sensor list.
*
If ball moves, means the thing uses both gyro and accelerometer to calibrate probably huh. If not won't detect movement to make the ball move even if gyro KO I guess.

Just curious also, lol

Whoa when I woke up today, phone couldn't turn on (although can hear notifications and all coming in).

When I first removed batt and reinserted, boot up came with "safe mode". widget all hilang, left stock stuff.

Removed batt for longer, reinserted, widgets and all still gone, but apps back. But all in different order.

First time see sweat.gif

*
Yeah directly from their site viz SMS payment is around RM6-7, no idea why

I've purchased from their site before and seen no additional charges.

So enjoy smile.gif

Hi guys,

Just gotten my new in-ear headphone. The sound is very nice, rich, crisp and balanced.

Just sharing in case some of you are shopping for new in-ear headphones too.

Before buying this, I tested all the following in Jaben shop in SS15.

1) A-Jays Three
2) A-Jays Four
3) Klipsch S4i
4) Hippo Shroom EB
5) Audio Technica 55
6) Shure 215

Final decision was Denon 560R...it's really nice.

I tested on the spot with the Jays Headset Control app downloaded from Android Market. The middle button of the headset works with all the function, Play/Pause.....Increase/Decrease volume....skip track forward/ backward....answer/ reject call.....

Oh btw guys, apart from getting external portable chargers (like yaobao and energizer), any idea for extended battery packs. Not the 2000mah type, the type you fix on and make your device fat.

Was out for day trip on Melaka on Thurs, and all our smartphones died-ed towards the later part of the day. Mine stayed all the way till I reached back Klang past midnite, but was all the way down. If I had to use maps/navigation a little more, wouldn't have lasted.

External chargers are great, but not so practical for day trips like that right. I don't carry a bag around in general. Any ideas? laugh.gif

Come share share, how do you guys keep your phones for long entire day trips out, and still be able to use functions you would wanna use on day trips (maps? google search? etc)

those bolt on ext battery? I think not.
Just carry a small ext battery pack and the right tip will do.

Keep it in a small pouch and it'll fit in your pocket.
*
Yeah saw my friend with an iPhone with that.

Hmm easier to use external batt huh hmm.gif Hard to charge while on the go ma (assuming mainly walking around and stopping by food places), no meh. Unless fit both the charger and the phone in the same pocket? If jeans tak jadi sad.gif

Maybe you can try Yoobao Powerbank 6600mah.
It is not so big and quite portable that can fit into pockets, but the wire might be a small hassle.
*
4800mah thinner right? Or thickness wise roughly same dimensions? Can't really tell from the pictures I'm googling

QUOTE(benny888 @ Feb 4 2012, 07:02 PM)
Just get spare battery small n very pocketable
*
Hmm was actually thinking of that, then figured when I get back home I'll have to pluck out n pluck in the other batt to charge. Unless I get a desktop charger I guess hmm.gif

Hmm seems like most pocketable way atm
