one of the marketing plan to retain their customer
was hoping that they got the similar package like digi to be able to subscribe only to internet and call is PAYU

Well, not exactly a marketing plan, but data prices are dropping across the board. They need to do this to even stay competitive.

Since they started giving out data in their new internet + voice/sms plans, they would have to lower data prices a bit.

Prices are extremely high and the quotas are pathetically low with the PAYU prices exorbitantly high.

lets hope with new players like Umo providing RM28/month unlimited internet with 1GB quota, other carriers will take notice once part of the pie gone.

Then we'll have price wars and end up consumer win ^^

Yes you can, CF-root is a modified CWM that was implemented to just show the recovery menu and some CWM functions.

You can overwrite the recovery menu with the actual CWM recovery.

Then just flash CWM recovery over it to get back CWM.

Reduce life span of car battery? Serious?
Shouldn't the cig plug be powered by the alternator?

And if not in use just unplug the charger.

Its good practice to unplug the charger from the cig socket when not in use though. Because there's no on/off switch on the charger.

And because mine has a light that's quite annoying so I prefer to remove it.

The point below that states that no discussion of pirated material on the forums.

On a side note, I find the stock browser very good, or good enough for my usage.

I tried opera browser, but don't like that the tabs take up screen real estate. Maybe if got bigger screen I'd use it.

Then I suggest you not to flash anything yet.

See if got user group meeting or gathering, then go along and talk to some of the guys there.

Pirated apps are ahem apps lor.

Supposed to pay, but sideload without paying.
If you sideload, but if the device has no market but you paid via some other channel to the dev, then it's also okay.
If its free and u sideload, no problem obviously.

As for key based apps, must purchase key.
