Best is still Mediafire. Don't need the DNS crap and don't need to wait before download.
*
Same here, mediafire is my favourite file sharing website, not sure why not that many people use it

p/s - i'm using KL3 firmware right now so cannot take screenshot :-(
*
That slide to unlock text really annoying, wonder if anyway to remove it doh.gif

Why u move back to KL3? For better battery?

ya i noticed that, any solution to it?
when it hangs, den d phone has to be restarted..gonna drive him insane..haha
*
Well, some users reported less hangs after upgrade to 2.3.6. I think someone here managed to get rid of hang by using non g version camera apk, but will get pink spot issue.

I think m Papago X5 i pirated as the store install for me when i bough it.
*
That papago is definitely pirated, remove it and monitor. If still have random reboots, try factory reset and monitor, maybe have rogue apps in ur phone

edit: oh yeah, and follow wave's advice too, forgot about sd card issue with g version sweat.gif

Hmmm Instead of fiddling with system files, maybe there is a widget locker gal.note lockscreen available tongue.gif

Why go for gnote when there's a much better ICS lockscreen available brows.gif

I dunno..i've been using both before and i still prefer GNote as i found GNex is quite sluggish and the sound is really slow. Maybe a few updates later will improve the GNex.
p/s - just bought (again) white GNote yesterday :-P

Added on February 5, 2012, 8:55 pm

GNote screenlock is quite the same with GNex. Only different is GNex screenlock is transparent and can be sweep open at any/all direction compared with left or right on GNote.
*
But i still prefer the ICS style lock screen, looks nicer in my opinion. I think gnexus sluggy cuz of the GPU, since its a not so powerful gpu plus a HD screen, bound to lag abit. If Samsung does the ICS optimization right, galaxy s2 will definitely get the king of android throne thumbup.gif well that depend what screen size they prefer

Then no pew pew Android Beam for you as our S2 dont have NFC. Only recently got some trader start selling non-G with NFC enable. With that type of S2 (GT-I9100P) i think you can get full ICS function :-)
*
Not much interest in android beam anyways tongue.gif

Hey guys, does your phone have Market consistently running in the background? It's kinda annoying after a while. Thinking of freezing Messaging,Email and Map though. Any other suggestion?
*
Our device has such big memory, why u worry abt these processes eating up ur ram anyways? Its like buying a Ferrari but drive it at 20km/h. They don't drain much batt anyways.

@waveweaver can send files too? o.O i thought only share links, its cool but i can live without it biggrin.gif

I'm not as so much as worrying about the RAM as I'm worrying about the battery consumption. The RAM is more than I can ever use, only using minimal mod like Go Launcher and as such.  smile.gif

No worries, they barely use up any juice anyways
