What's the point of collecting over counter then? Just to trouble the hell out of the recipient? Or make us consider paying the damn RM49.50 just to bring the parcel to nearest post office?

Those blood suckers!!! vmad.gif mad.gif

EMS shipment cost is almost like 1 time higher then SAL lol.. cry.gif  Of course lah.. it's all depends on how expensive ur item will cost you... like me item below 1k~2k yen will go for SAL and normally item below 1k custom will not charge you lar.. well at least that's in my place here lor.. biggrin.gif

I would say in malaysia it's base on case to case.. can't say it for all cases! sweat.gif

Recently, order SD Gundam from hobbylink japan the custom didn't charge anything.. just ask me to collect the item from counter.. you'll receive one advise letter in white color to collect your item at local post office then that mean's good news lor.. rclxms.gif (NO TAX) If you receive one orange card/advice letter then congratulation.. you KENA TAX!!! doh.gif

1. Most the online shopping cart system require you to key in your personal detail as well as Shipping Address. So just change it over there before submit your transaction. The HLJ has a very useful friendly and improved system already.

2. ah...I have no idea about this.

You may need to assign a courier agent like from DHL or someone from postal industry. Also you will get an letter from customs to pick up ur stuff. In the letter there will be list of items u need to submit.

If you shop with HLJ, the invoice is with your package. If its the frist time you go pick up on top of the tax, you need to pay an official processing form about RM100.

Best if you can get postal agents to get your stuff.

Tax my foot, its more like bribe, when they see a big package you are screwed. I had to pay the bribe of RM60+ for some model I bought from Singapore to the Penang customs
The best is to make the package as small as posiable or order from online Malaysian company. you can find them from ebay Malaysia.
I've bought from HLJ when I was living in the states, no problem at all.
I'm not buying it over here, man just think of the tax I would have to pay. cry.gif

Any 1 buy from 1999.co.jp before? I have a few items where 1999.co.jp still have stock while HLJ ran out of stock. Somemore it much cheaper than HLJ also.

If I buy 5 different items & total is less than 2KG from HLJ. Will I still get tax from Kastom? Izzit that the posman will drop the package at our door step?

BTW, I kind of confuse about the cost for SAL. i.e. the items that I want to buy:

(Price from item page)
Item cost: 2,000 yen
Weight: 370g
SAL: 880 yen

(Price from shipping cost page)
Weight: 400g
SAL: 500yen

So, the actual is 2,000 yen + 880 yen or 2,000yen + 500yen? Whcih 1 should I follow?

HLJ is just an estimate. if 880 yen from the item page, then it should be slightly under 880. their estimate in items page is quite accurate. i have my stuff all shipped to singapore and their estimate is always around the figure showed.

anyway 880 and 500 yen is not that much of a different anyway. its like about 10 bucks only

Yes..Play-Asia sells EVERYTHING GENUINE! biggrin.gif

Ive already done about 10++ orders from them.
Nothing much to say..they provide coupons..but I dont really like their packaging.

They do protect CDs and Figures well but try not do order books from them ><

And try to inform them to add more bubble wrappers to protect your item..they can do it!

Their customer service is also good! And they provide a few shipping options..
As for Malaysia..they do provide FREE SHIPPING. But if kastam tahan then you're sorry..you kena tax laugh.gif

So far out of 10++ orders..only 1 package kena tax..considered lucky

And one more bad thing..they have limited stock for some items ><

One more thing..Lets say if you place an order no..your order will be shipped by 7pm or 8pm..very fast!

Added on February 25, 2007, 6:12 pmSo far for those of you who ordered stuffs from HLJ..can you please tell me the average shipping price?

Is the box they use for shipping strong?

Just saw this figure in HLJ Imari Bible Black. Want to place a per-oder but just worried about Penang customs. They'd most likely screw me with taxes mad.gif but do you guys think they'd allow it to pass. unsure.gif
