hi guys, i'm not sure what's happening, but whenever i turn on my packet data, it's not working, i saw the H and 3G logo, it's uploading, but it's not downloading, anyone know what's the problem? i'm using maxis btw.

I never faced this either on 2.3.5/2.3.6 or Cow's custom ROM

check the apn settings

i resetted the apn settings and it's still the same. I'm still on rooted stock 2.3.5, this is the first time i use 3G on this phone. The thing is, after i turn on packet data, the 3G and H logo, will keep switching between itself, and it's only uploading, not downloading.

I deleted quite a few stock apps and now I face a problem in updating... thats why I want to get back all the stock apps... Btw, I want to flash to cows roms... but I'm now at 2.3.5....

Anyone know how much does it cost for a car charger or portable charger?

I think I found the cure for FC on sms. I disabled the push message setting in the sms setting and no more FC. received few smses after that and still ok. so far so good. I dunno what push message actually for.

I'm also using 2.3.6 stock. In fact, the first two days I received the phone out of the box in 2.3.5 and never receive any message within that period. Then updated to 2.3.6. I'm having FC issue only when I try to UNLOCK the MESSAGE ICON on LOCKSCREEN. Only in LOCKSCREEN. After I unlock it, it pops up and FC. The first two times I encounter this I restarted the phone and this time I close all those background apps(Juice Defender Ultimate, 3G WatchDog Pro and Circular Battery Indicator. Then tried to send a sms to this phone and it works. I enabled them back one by one until all enabled but No FC Issue. I don't think that got to do with push message.

Push message is your notification. The one that pops up on your screen when you receive a message.

No Fc when open sms via GO Locker lock screen. My FC only happen when open via notification pull bar. My FC happened only recently (abt 1 or 2 weeks after updated to 2.3.6). I dunno whether FC have any relation to push message setting or not but after I disabled it till now no more FC. Hopefully it stay that way.

I think it is. I use my brother's Galaxy S2 car charger to charge my Galaxy W

of coz..right now im charging my wife galaxy W with my sgs2 charger
