is it normal after installing some aps and surfing the internet, u turn on the music player on W and u can hear some jitters and doesnt play as smooth as when it was still virgin? playing from the SD card fcos.... before it was in the phone's memory and seems to be ok... anyone exp same thing?

iPhone4 is just an overrated phone. Just because of the fame the name has, everyone chooses iPhone 4. But thorough users will know that an iPhone vs. Android, the iPhone can NEVER win.

If i want to send received mms it is not automatically download and upload..why?my apn setting are correct..it is differ from my htc desire..which are automatically done without setting the wireless data ON..please anyone share some experince..thank you..p

Hi, noob here. just got my galaxy w three days ago. noticed something wrong with the wifi connection.

wifi connection is relatively weak even with the wireless AP right in the same room as i am and drops intermittently. googled everywhere and browsed thru this forum for solutions. i've tried...

- wifi fixer app
- set to static IP address
- manually set DNS
- change to WEP
- tried public wifi hotspots

but still can't resolve it. it comes with a factory 2.3.6 . anyone facing the same problem? should i be sending it for warranty claim?

does the phone itself vibrate when in silent mode + vibrate ON?

nop, no vibrate in silent mode + vibrate On,

Invoke the phone and dial *#0*#. You don't have to pick up, it'll go to the diagnostics screen after you type the last #. On the diagnostics screen, touch the "vibration" button. The screen goes black and the phone vibrates. Touch the screen again to return to the diagnostics screen. Touch back to return to the dialing screen.

Edit: Before going to above test, go to Settings -> Sound and Display -> Vibration intensity and make sure the slider isn't set all the way to the left, which disables the vibration even in above test. Set the desired vibration intensity there, then try the above test.

if still failed..then ur phone vibrator kaput..which happened to my 1 mth+ phone...

Use better battery stats (download from xda) and check for which apps that cause wakelocks

u using stock apps or 3rd party?maybe got some settings need to tweak..

3rd party. Go SMS Pro. i checked all settings. last time i used ok, now don't know why no vibrate anymore.

yup thats right. Ppl buy iphone just for the brand. Its just like the first batch of iphone alwayz had given some error somewhere around. So thats why I got samsung coz it has similar features plus its android...whats the point for u to buy an expensive phone which has features & specs, that sucks.... Everybody wants to see value for every cent they spend. Its a universal thing. U dont want to spend money for crap, am i right??
