Hi, I am very new to photo shooting, and just bought a new NEX 5 twin lens.  What type of adaptor is recommended that support most of the "non-NEX" lens? Or which is the popular/must-have adaptor for NEX?

I am interested to try out other non-NEX lens.

Since you are a newbie, I suggest you to stick to the kit lenses and master them before you explore other lenses.

Oh and is the VCL-ECF1 fisheye converter any good? :/ thinking of getting it since i'll be headed to scotland in sept and scenery and architecture there is just amazing!  biggrin.gif Would get it there, but its just more expensive.. sad.gif

hmm.. just get the red dot on the lens in line with the arrow on the adapter and turn clockwise. it should be secure when you hear a click sound. if your hand is on the pin, you won't be able to hear it. the aperture dial should facing upwards when attached to your NEX. btw, which lens are you attaching to the adapter? biggrin.gif
