yes, i saw the gardens selling that too... but im currently funding for ps3... might just save some for lens that i want to get later on... SEL50F18 maybe... E mount always pricy

the price of SEL50F18 never come down... sony centre mid valley do have when i check ps3 yesterday...

50F18 is consider wide angle lens liao? hmm... how bout sigma 19mm? that one im pretty sure is wide angle d....

there are only two lens in my mind now... SEL50F18 and sigma 19mm... after get this 2 enough for me to play for quite some times...

Hi jimmy, undoubt SEL50F18 is a really sharp lens n auto focus still acceptable for me... For me I will choose something there is less compatible issue with my nex..

If u going to choose CZ u will loss the autofocus lor (unless u get a costly adapter)... For me CZ is just the same as Leica lens, they have something which couldn't find in other lens.. Maybe the structure or design of that lens which Sony manufactured lens cannot on par with.. Pro and cons.. For me I very noob in manual focus will go for SEL50F18 for sure...

Now funding for a macro lens.. Any idea on SEL30M35?

Oh by the way, there is a good deal to share in pc expo mid valley.. Nex5n-d+extra battery+tripod+pouch+8gb memory card+sony extend warranty=2799...

Only available in white n silver.. Super limited unit.. I think might sold out ad...

In my opinion la, each of nex model target different market.. Who will utilize the 24mp of nex7? And I think F3 is a replacement of C3, ppl still rumour around it will lost touch screen.. Maybe there is some additional function n better outlook such as grip.. In technical specification wise, I think they will still differentiate it btw 3 n 5.. Correct me if I'm wrong.. Just comment on what I read n feel...
Personally think 5n can last me for at least 3yrs la.. Cos I don't really like bulky body like SLR, still I like a picture quality.. Nex do the best for me !

macro performance is really good
if you want to take potrait with this lens, not really recommended cos u need to keep a distance...
however, really a sharp lens... if i show u the actual size of the item i snap, u will shock

Hmm pro n cons la.. E mount lens can't really ask for too much compare to Slr lens.. Overally I'm satisfied with it, at least the object I focus is quite details.. For the corner sharpness, I can't explain much.. Some of my photos do hv this issue but some don't hv..

Ok, let me make it clearer.. A Sony made e mount lens.. For me, the corner blur issue is random, which I can't explained when will sharp n when will blur..

i was at the same position with u at that moment, but after sometimes i feel nex setting is quite ok...
ofcos most of the dslr comes with dial on top, just twist will do... nex need to touch screen n slowly select...

agree with jimmy, SEL lens always hv better IQ compare with sigma... picture quality wise, maybe sigma will be a lil bit better...
after i back from a trip, i personally feel the 18-55mm lens is important cos of the OSS, 16mm great for me to shoot marina bay laser show with tripod at night SEL30M35 not only shoot for food and macros, i use to walk and snap... suprising, the result is kinda miracle for me... will upload pics soon...

now fund for SEL50F18 or perhaps... ready for the next update of nex7
