Well, if i dont factor the price in i would take the RX-1 anyday! but at 2799USD its really targetting a very rich enthusiast or pro market.

I use touch screen function all the time, love it so much, especially when we flexi focus, It perform dramatic well, speedy to focus compare the button function.

Touvh screen made Nex 5N users more easy , users friendly compare to non touch screen camera(personal opinion) ,no offence to amyone here smile.gif
*
Haha is ok jimmy ... yup, everyone got different opinion...
tell you what... initially i bought 5n for touch screen, but now not really like...
maybe becos i put on my hand strap and always accidentally touch on the screen.. hmm
pros and cons la... wink.gif

Sony emount Too expensive sad.gif
Canon & nikon selling rm300 only but sony almost rm1k. sad.gif feel not worth to me.
*
Bro, nth is not worth... and the built is not the same...
if i'm not wrong, canon one is made by plastic and the aperture blade is not so smooth...

e-mount is built for compact... compact means costly... wink.gif

50mm e-mount wasn't considered compact at all...
but OSS and metal construction does jack up the price of it...
*
Haha... you got the point..
and yes, the main big thing is OSS... icon_idea.gif

However I am in serious dilemma now... Whether to keep the 16mm.. The reason I want to keep it becos of the compact size and my both ultra wide angle and fisheye adapter (I love both of this adapter very much).. And yet the 16mm quality and details of pic is significantly lose to my 50f18 and 1855 lens.. I don't think the 2 adapter is suitable for the 1855 on 18mm.. Was planning to hv the pancake 1650 but can't match with the adapter right? So so so wanted to hv a better wide angle lens...

Any idea not to drop the adapters by not using 16mm? I know I'm asking a nonsense question.. Hahaha

Hey bro how's the performance of sigma 19mm? Hardly found any review on net, mostly 30mm, mind to share some photos with this lens ? And how much you bought it and where ?

Added on September 22, 2012, 2:38 pm

Hehe bro easy, sell all and buy the new wide-angle and 1650.

In fact I'm still waiting review from 1650 and if it's good I will get it.

Beside, possible to share the photos and review with 16mm and both adapters ? I always wanna try the wide angle.

then where should i accomodate my ultra wide and fisheye adapter leh doh.gif

thanks bro, but aperture in my nex5n is F4.0 is the lowest. can lower again?
*
just my 2cents...
first, u are using a zoom kit lens... if u let your lens stay at 18mm (no zoom condition), u will have the maximum of f3.5...
i would suggest you dont make the led lamp and captain america inside the frame...
2nd thing, try get more light and lower down the ISO... and make your picture in a horizontal way... i mean 180c will be more comfortable for me...

enjoy shooting ... rolleyes.gif

thanks sifu here notworthy.gif .. act i got zoom a bit, but never try see the lowest level of aperture setting..

i been try using room light, tat normal lampu putih one, but the setting all runaway.. then i adjust it n snap, but i feel tat under led light nicer.. not sure maybe i still learning..

horizontal way 180c how to do the setting in my shoot mode?
*
im also newbie... what i can say is just go out and snap more...
this is the best way to learn... and read some magazines and what forumers around here discussing...

your photo is in a horizontal way already... i mean just try to make it as perfect 180c (like u use a tripod)

actually, you shouldn't have used flash. use natural light, keeping the glow from the lanterns as the main subject. now, everything is in view, detracting the viewer from whatever you're trying to show (i'm assuming it's the lanterns here, and not the roof tiles). secondly, the image doesn't tell much of a story, half cropped lantern tops and bottoms, and even the name plaque is cropped away. an advice would be, the next time you see a scene that is appealing to you, take a moment 1st to think of how you want to convey the scene into a single image. take note of the subject's edges so that they don't get cropped away. you could employ the rule of thirds to make a comparatively more pleasing shot... but most of all, keep taking photos and don't be shy/afraid from constructive criticisms.
*
william, do you mind to provide me some readings around web about rules of 3rd grid?
i seems not really can master this skill... even bought a book rclxub.gif

geek85, ok like this. The next time you take a pic, ask yourself, "what do I like about this picture?" explain to yourself 1st, what makes the particular picture that you took looks nice. Without convincing yourself, how to convince others?

Rule of thirds is very simple and straightforward. In a photo, have 2 imaginary lines cross vertically and horizontally with equal distance from one another. You will then see a # symbol, correct? Now, your subject, frame it in your camera so that the subject is on the intersecting (crossing) lines in the #. Either 4 of the intersections also can. Take this as a guide 1st, start from here, in the future when you're more experienced, this rule can be 'broken' with more creative approaches.
*
so there will be 4 intersection point in the # right?
i try to make my subject stay on the intersection line...
i just got back from my lake toba/medan trip... maybe i will upload some for u to see... i did use your method to snap those

hmm... really thanks a lot william... flex.gif

Already play with the baby NEX6... i would say it is great for the ppl who buy NEX camera for the first time... OLED viewfinder noticeable a bit blurrer than nex7... hand on feel very similar to nex7... currently not accept for pre-order but will come on november'12...

function wise very similar with existing NEX system but with wifi function... you can see 5R really left out at one side... hahaha...

not to forget the pancake 16-50 !!! i cant really zoom the picture but i would say quality is very similar to 18-55 but it really can fit into pocket...

ERP = Estimated Retail Price, I think...
*
to be honest, for me the pancake zoom lens isn't so pancake... when u turn the camera on, the lens size is almost same with 18-55... when u turn it off, then it will back to a not so pancake size...

I asked about the shutter control and live view via smartphones at the KLPF but the sony people say cannot...LOL
*
to be honest, sony staff at KLPF most of them is part timer... no product knowledge at all...
even price tag also put wrong...

me: hi, how much is the SEL24F18Z selling... your tag stated RM1099 only...
B*d*h: yes, we are selling at a discounted price brows.gif time to get your new stuff...
me: are you sure? please check with yr supervisor...

**walk away and come back to me, i saw him walk to aside reach no one and come back to me with my eye**

B*d*h: yes, it is selling at RM1099...
me: ok, how many stock you hv? go ask your supervisor again...
B*d*h **show me black face** and this time really go get a supervisor come...

guess what, supervisor told him if this lens really sell at 1099, he no salary for 3mths biggrin.gif and keep say sorry to me and tell me no stock, need order...

me: so what's the best price?
B*d*h: **with face lagi tak syok** no way to tell, only if you plan to buy we will disclose the best price...

i just keep quiet and walk way....

few more mins after, i wan test the nex6 out, else i wont back to there... he is holding the nex6 explain with a customer... although the customer not playing with it, he refuse tp pass it to his colleague to explain to me even his colleague request from him (maybe he saw it is me)..

explain half way, he tell his customer the cam can change lens, then straight pluck the SELP1650 out without turn off the camera... whole camera in error and lens autofocus motor couldn't go back !!! what else, supervisor drag him to aside tongue.gif
