blink.gif since mirrorless camera cant really be waterproof besides using casing, then I will just go for compact type.
Handy when I need it too. icon_rolleyes.gif

I look around the net already, Olympus camera famous for being tough. Panasonic is playing good on waterproof too, but I doubt on Sony brand hmm.gif

Sony design all look like the same LOL... laugh.gif

Olympus Toughs are usually the best waterproof/shockproof/freezeproof in the market, can't really go wrong with them nod.gif
And the performance is pretty good as well when compared to similar compacts from other brands  thumbup.gif

so choosing olympus is better than panasonic and sony?
what about its size? seems like olympus is larger than panasonic and sony.

I guess the problem with Sony's waterproof cameras is the sliding mechanism... get any small sand particles or debris inside and slide, then you can kiss the metalic paint bye bye  tongue.gif
Don't expect rugged cameras to be "thin and light" la haha laugh.gif
Perhaps you can take a look at the Olympus TG1.. I've read some of the reviews and this one seemed to be the best among the competition  hmm.gif

olympus TG1 is like the best and first choice for me for the brand olympus but price exceed RM1000 already sad.gif

Why so many new camera come out in a short time?
Last time i want to buy sx200 then 220 out, then 240 out. Price still so high, but old model dont feel worth it if compare to new model.

should i buy new camera straight or wait for price to drop?
