QUOTE(vearn27 @ Mar 6 2012, 12:14 PM) Yeah, I have been doing that but sometime I failed to trigger when I wanted to do back lighting. Pocket Wizard has released their 3rd version of their wireless trigger, izzit? Yeah, there's the Plus III out. Didn't read much details since I use FlexTT5 system instead.QUOTE(ojtee @ Mar 6 2012, 01:04 PM) Su-800 is another alternative, only disadvantage is the distance and it need to be as clear as possible to trigger slave, altough i did try to trigger a slave behind a door, it still did. Indoor its still acceptable, but if wide open outdoor --> bad. |

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Mar 7 2012, 10:03 PM) Definitely bro, they don't listen or pose for you; You need to wait for the right moment and get that shot immediately or it's gone and they may not do it again. Not exactly subject friendly to slow focusing lens like my 35 and 85 |

Tough part is I can't do continuous because the lens hunts at times when using non cross sensors ._. My 70200 however can handle this kinda movements.. but lazy bring cause MFD 1.5m plus its so heavy.

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Mar 7 2012, 10:59 PM) Try not to get too close, then you can use center focus and focus-recompose. With more DOF, easier to shoot and have more rooms more slight movement. But further distance would also mean getting other things into the frame which you might not want and you might need to crop it later. If not you can try using smaller aperture to get more DOF. Too bad I don't own a 24-70... so my fastest focusing lens is the 70200.70-200 I think too tight for indoor and on long focal length, the DOF also thinner, more easy to OOF. QUOTE(jchue73 @ Mar 7 2012, 11:55 PM) The shoot kids successfully, you need to be good with kids first and foremost. It helps if you manage to get their attention. I took thousands of shots of my daughter and son. Less than 1% can be considered keepers. Yeah, with kids it's all about timing and speed of capturing spontaneity. Primes are damn difficult to shoot. The 24-70mm f/2.8 was a saviour. This baby is only attracted to those stuffs such as touchscreen phones and tablets... and guess what? Once he get his hands on those, he would be concentrating really hard on it ._. langsung no shot after that tsk tsk... |

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Mar 8 2012, 09:50 AM) Tiger + Lion = Tigon Will take note for my own baby... Lion + Tiger = Liger It's like this; Baby under certain age, their vision is not fully developed and cannot see well, they're attracted to striking colors, lights, etc. For below 3 months (I think), they see red and black, so they're attracted to these colors and also shapes. For phones/tablets, the display is can be very bright, try not to let them see. Many parents seems to neglect this. If there is colourful toys, can try use it to attract his/her attention, best to have someone do it while you take the shot. QUOTE(kappa89 @ Mar 8 2012, 10:44 AM) Sure a? Ok. now currently i got 10k. got d300s with tamron 17-50 non vc. i would like to get macro, wide angel and for sure 70-200 vr2 to complete my collection of lenses. any recommendation for these 2 lenses? Macro and wide angel. i dont mind to topup a bit. Tokina 11-16 and SP90 and 70200 VR2? |

It is normal that the new bodies would be better than the old bodies in terms of focusing. The new AF module is supposed to be improved.
Its only abnormal when new bodies are worse than old bodies (R&D fail?) |

QUOTE(BuyerSellers @ Mar 9 2012, 05:13 PM) I think RM400+ to RM500... no idea, why not go for 50mm 1.8G instead, with SWM and metal bayonet. Come with Lens hood and pouch bag, RM689 only. silent motor, fast focusing. I'll join in the game... I'll replace the 8 on my D700 Added on March 9, 2012, 5:14 pm Added on March 9, 2012, 5:17 pm I just got my D4x (I print out the number 4 and paste on top of 3 on my D3x) |

Which is better? I dun dare to shout out hehe scared got beatten up by Dr.dre users ehehehe! I haven't seen a crop sensor being better than a full frame Cy, cannot compare like that 1... its like comparing FX and DX sensor... When comes to beats studio it should compare with the AD flagship over-ear series. nuf said. QUOTE(Calvin Seak @ Mar 10 2012, 07:16 PM) M50s are awesome but I only use it indoors because it gets really hot and ill tend to sweat so I need an environment with aircond!
