QUOTE(mosesmao @ Apr 14 2012, 11:28 AM) wow. Thx guys. how about the other SANSAs? (Clip, Fuze, Zip) or isit just specifically only Clip+ is awesome? =D what is Rockbox? isit a hardware enhancement or software? It's a firmware. Makes everything simpler to use. I've only tested it out but from the 30min-ish I had with it, I noticed everything was much faster than the original firmware. The other Sansas are also viable, but the Clip+ is more of a no-hassle, push-and-play player you were asking about. Also, Clip+ is the only one in the line-up that supports FLAC iirc. Can use the iPod touch earphone(With volume control) to control the clip? cause when I ride the sq is not that important. Can't really listen in detail cause of the wind noise. From the looks of it. i think Clip + is my best choice here. Thx for the informative reply. Much appreciated.

I know almost any iPhone /smartphone compatible cables will work with the iPods but not sure about the Clip+(again, I only tested them for a little while) most probably you will only be able to play/pause.

Won't be listening at loud volume. It will be like driving a car with the radio on. Still be able to hear the surrounding. Hehe Added on April 18, 2012, 10:53 pmhmmm. i am having this dilemma on whether to choose the Sansa Clip Plus or the Sansa Fuze. Both almost same price but Fuze got bigger screen to scroll for songs. Which have better SQ? =)) thx sifu sifus This post has been edited by mosesmao: Apr 18 2012, 10:53 PM

Didnt realize my question is featured as the first question of the thread lol.
But anyways, here's the updated question to the previous question:
I will be owning UE Triplefi10 + Null audio lune cable
So, which dap with decent pricing (<rm800) with lossless support, decent or expandable memory capacity and decent battery life should i choose? No video no problem coz i'll be watching MVs on my ipad / computer instead.

I using the S series too with Fiio LOD for walkman... As I know all sony walkman using same connector.... never try A series. Yes you need an amp... line out will give you constant output... in walkman, volume button will be disable when use line out. I not the seller, I can't give you any price... check with bro E1-AKG. It will bypass the internal amp only, not the internal dac.. Internal dac still need to use to convert digital to analog signal. Line out is analog not digital. In walkman flow song --> internal DAC (convert digital to analog) --> internal amp (with volume adjustments)--> headphone by using line out cable song --> internal DAC (convert digital to analog) --> line out (no volume can be adjust) --> your external amp (with volume adjustments)--> headphone You cannot use external DAC with walkman.
