Appreciate some enlightenment here.
Notice from the link that Xuzen gave, FSM Insurance says can save up till 30% commission [https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/insurance/product-comparison/compare/health],
but from other links and a search on the internet, reveals insurance agent earns about 70-130% in commissions from the premium paid
Eg of a link : https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1288445/all
Thus, this would seem that FSM insurance is making some commissions too? If so, I can just walk into any of the insurance companies and save the 70-130% commission instead of buying from FSM? If so, what's the point of buying from FSM then?
Thanks in advance
Getting an agent to service is good at times when you have problem filing a claim or need a person who has experience in claim to appeal for you.Notice from the link that Xuzen gave, FSM Insurance says can save up till 30% commission [https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/insurance/product-comparison/compare/health],

If you think FSM is not earning a single cent out of you, you're kind of mistaken in a way. Otherwise why would they bother to promote it ? Charity ? Plus if I am FSM, I won't need to service you, just take your money and go service urself.
However if you're trying to save all the commission and not want to pay for any service, then self service is the way.
