you mean Silent mode???Can create any shortcut key/icon???

that one cannot i guess.if you're using custom rom, you'll have a few option to disable sound like by pressing power button or can disable it from notification menu. maybe someone else can clear this up.

I also just realize u can hold volumn down all the way to activate vibrate only... and press once more to go complete off.. volumn up to activate vibrate again and up more to back to normal

On yakju 4.0.2, long press the power button and you'll get an option to put your phone into silent mode. AOKP has more options.

You can even do that on stock 4.0.1.
Been playing with my phone for 2days now, mine is non-yakju build.
Temp to flash custom rom but never have experience in flashing.
One question, do i need to flash to 4.0.3 first before flash any custom rom?

Nope, you do not need to. You can just flash any custom ROM after you've flash the CWM recovery. You can follow the guide here on how to flash the CWM recovery:
