if 175/65/14 kena fender most probably 185/60/14 will kena also cos diameter for both are quite similar. visually d size of 165/60/14 compare to 185/60/14 is quite alot of difference le as i park both my savvy n BLM side by side.

kidmad last time u install 2 point strut bar how much ah? i know UR bars price went up a few months ago..  sad.gif

Hehe from Howie EA autoworks also. RM125 for front bar.. oil catch 140.. and simota air filter rm160.. somthing like that la. lol that 20 bucks different.. sap sap water la.

Anyway... Mirage... hurmm.... 3 cylinder can or not one? Later like Viva.. need extra care.. 3 years down the road vibrate like no tomorrow.. Engine start to choke..
Yeah yeah.. 2 tyre size ori is the kecik muny tyre 165/60/14 right? Let me see if change also change 185/60/14... definitely not 175/65/14 liao.. back sure tio fender again.. 185/60/14 no issue right?

I'm using 185/60/14!! Where got sagat? tried with 3 person at the back also no sagat...the fact it is higher than my previuos 185/60/13 (sagat with 3 person at the back) or stock 175/50/15. The wheel arch space looks small also.

The rims are JRD look like BLM rim but not 100% same. 6'' wheel with 38 offset.

Added on November 22, 2012, 11:11 amFor cost reason dun look at other choice di 185/60/14 is the most popular with so many choice.

Sell... I will sell BLM if I have a choice whistling.gif

FYI, I finally found some useful material to mod my intake. First, as I reaching my screw driver on the clip, it wasn't even screwed tight! The entire stock intake & engine cover fall off just like that doh.gif I got myself a Plotong Wigra VDO flexi intake hose, chopped off the map sensor mount, left the flexi part. There's an air buffer module on the intake hose whihc is in the way of Sabby's aircon hose, I had to chop it off as well. Covered with water jacket, sealed with epoxy. Connect the flexi to a 2inches chromed steel pipe. Steel pipe connected to pod filter. After mod figured the pod filter slack downward, saw a piece of metal from the bookshelf, bent a Z hook and hooked it up with the flexi hose. Total cost include brand new pod filter RM75 icon_idea.gif

Add powah after change pod filter? I don't think so, placebo effect may be lar. But hor, click my fuelly and see what happened rolleyes.gif I dare not to say its reliable, since the tank half ady gone by the time I did the pod filter. Let's just wait for the next tank and see lar. I've been driving and modding car for toooooooo many years to understand what can bring power, and what brings placebo lar laugh.gif Few things I notice its significant after open pod as below:

1) Occasion jerking like mad during traffic jam has been reduced to minimal
2) However, the effect of hot air intake really obvious. During noon time if traffic jam will be suffering the sluggish response.
3) After 3krpm, it sounded like a Ferrari laugh.gif not like any other car I've driven, this 1 sounded high pitch sweat.gif

The FC is too good to be true, I dare not to say its solely caused by the pod filter. I've recently did a few other mods as well, so it could be a combine effect and or just so happened 1 of them working hard for the fuel economy laugh.gif

p/s: Btw, what the heck was that you posted blink.gif Oil catch tannk I can DIY also, therefore not necessarily. I'm those kind of olskol fella that squat under the tree mod car geh blush.gif

I'm an insurance company marketer. I go visit used car dealers everyday. Imagine I go Serdang Raya, along the road how I drive doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif Besides of traffic jam in KL, the rest of the time will be traveling within 5km gotta stop for next car dealer liao. If in Serdang Raya is worst la laugh.gif And I don't use haiwei, mana ada used car dealer kat haiwei sweat.gif

The most long distance route will be from KL to Kajang to Dengkil to Banting to Jenjarom to Panglima Garang to Sijangkang to Bandar Botanic to Bdr Puteri to Jln Kebun to Jln Bkt Kemunig to Shah Alam Sek 15 UMW finally ended up in Subang using air port road jam all the way to Lebuh Sg Buluh at around 5pm, then all the way jam to reach home at Sri Damansara by 7pm. Within that 209km I traveled, I had to stop 23 times atleast, not inclusive of breakfast/lunch/morning yum cha, afternoon yum cha, stop by roadside pee, drive sloe sloe by the road side kacau awek and stuff. So basically I do super short distance drive, but long hour driving lar laugh.gif

Speed ar.... around 80~90 max la. Unless during the stretch from Bandar Botanic to Bandar Puteri, in Kesas mar icon_idea.gif
