Stock ICS starts to lag when I add more accounts to sync. Currently there are 12 items with 11 active. It lags when I tried to scroll the list.

Viber failed to work while I can't seem to register my WhatsApp. Connection problem? Try again tomorrow using office's line.

If it can be screencapped, it's not your screen's fault.

Added on January 17, 2012, 9:20 amAny idea how do I do screen capture on Sammy's stock ICS ROM?

wat mean not "there" yet? still not stable and buggy?
*
Firstly, Viber not working for me.

Social Hub is... buggy. I can't seem to login to it at all.

The fading transition on Talk was annoying (not screen fade, more like when suggested words bar appear and disappear from keyboard, the whole screen moves along, in fade transition instead of immediate. You'll get what I mean when you use Talk + Swype).

Account & Sync list lag badly when I have many items there, which I don't understand why. Don't think I ever notice that on GB 2.3.5 the last time I had it on i9100.

When the phone's screen is off, but before it's locked. I press on Home button to bring up the screen, it displays the task list. I believe it's the lag that causes the Home button to registered as "long press" (call up recent task). Or maybe I was using the Season Zen HD live wallpaper which causes the phone to lag?

Standby with wifi connected, BT on, GPS on, battery dropped from 100% full charged (with phone off) to 88% in merely 2 hours+.

Setting Wallpaper (2 options of wallpaper, I dunno why? TW screwed up?) would FC (Get this message: Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped. with OK button) at the wallpaper type selection screen.

2 cases of sudden power off (without shutdown screen/animation).

I think the list would go on if I dig further.

wow.. thats bad.. how bout the apps compatibility on ICS? will some apps causes random restarts of the phone?
*
Example would be Viber if your concern is on compatibility. Don't forget, my GMusic can't work on this TW ICS as well, what a shame!

FB app is not smooth, 1st touch response is laggy. Meaning once the page is loaded, when you want to scroll the list down, the 1st time you swipe, it doesn't move the list. You have to swipe again. I have tested, ICS does register the touch, just FB not responding well. I would say, FB is laggy here, never seen it that laggy on GB before. doh.gif

Want to flash original firmware back to my phone (hence unroot)

Tried the thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278

Since there's only one file in DXKL3 package, I choose this file as PDA in Odin to flash:
GT-I9100_THL_I9100DXKL3_I9100OLCKL2_I9100DXKL1.tar.md5

However, after that it got stuck at splash screen.... any idea? I'm coming from CM9 ROM
*
Factory reset already? Clear all cache and Dalvik?

I went to this ROM, then to CM9, but you terbalik. lol.

Try extracting the file into 3 part and do it manually if clearing cache don't work?

That's the only file in the MultiCSC Package (GT-I9100_THL_I9100DXKL3_I9100OLCKL2_I9100DXKL1)

From the website it's like this
So I guess I have to download the kernel separately and flash twice (tick phone?)??

I didn't.... maybe I should do that...

Rule of thumb, if bootloop, this is the 1st place to look for, clear everything. biggrin.gif

Good luck!

Phone shut off suddenly again. This time was using USB for tethering to internet. No warning of low batt or whatsoever.

I think I better flash it back to GB and use. If still the same, will consider sending back to DirectD for battery warranty before warranty runs out.

EDIT: I also noticed 1 thing, the H+ never appears on this ROM. ICS problem or Sammy's problem? hmm.gif

ICS is still experimental on SGS2. As mentioned by anttoo before, CM9 is just for testing purpose right now. If you can compile all bug that you've encountered to CM team, they can improve it a bit better.

to experience the ICS right now, revert to Galaxy Nexus!! i've heard the phone got a cool video call!!
*
I think CM9 has less bug than this Sammy's stock ROM. doh.gif

I played with the video call (Talk v4.0.3-239410 (330)) that augments my facial features. lol, funny, but also sucks juice like mad.

Will revert back to GB, unfortunately no more funny Talk video calls. sad.gif

They promised ICS in Q1 2012. But I think as soon as there's a stable CM9 I'll root and flash it again biggrin.gif
*
I think you can root your stock ROM first with CF-Root. By the time you want CM9, you don't have to hunt for CF-Root for CWM. lol.

U-mobile.

Previous 2 shutdown was without sim card, purely on Wifi only.

Jus like when u buy a new car. Some may want to mod the car & some like stock standard to maintain warranty. Some like to root their devices & some prefer stock reason being only 'for day to day use". Custom roms
are usually not stable, buggy & laggy. Official versions are always stable and that why worth the wait.Jus my 2 sen..
*
Wow, modding analogy is a bit different, cause it cost money.

Flashing custom ROM is free. biggrin.gif

When it involves money, everything is so different.

Hi guys, just share with you on my earlier sudden shut off case.

The fine line gap there was the period of phone off, totally can't power on. That period was about 60 minutes. Then I charge it while phone off (using PC USB) until I power it on and it showed 40% on the status.

Meaning that my phone was forced off at around 40% of juice. hmm.gif

Will revert back to GB to see if it's in fact ICS problem or battery (AP set) problem.

EDIT: Recalled another bug on stock ICS. Word selection on web browser (or maybe other apps also) is faulty. Press and hold on a word, it highlighted the word correctly, but the handler (the 2 points) are actually placed somewhere else. Hence you are not copying the correct letters.

I am running the Bezke's ICS and I am loving how stable it is. Never hanged at all, not a single FC, battery life is very decent (1hour 32 mins of screen on auto on 50% battery), Youtube and all hardware video acceleration working perfectly, Flash in the browser working perfect, no reboots at all, standby current consumption is 19mA, Face Unlock working perfectly.

Finally, a working batterymod!

Unfortunately, I'm ditching this back to GB soon.

Initially after the boot up, the baseband is gone, I thought it killed the modem file. Then have to wait for 3 minutes after boot, everything is properly initialised. In case anyone panicked. lol.
