is your voltage controller up to date?
as the old versions has no delay in init.d
so it will revert to stock settings
the newer vc has a 20 second delay

as for the lulz i giv up on that
not as good as ondemand for me
u can try to manual set via init.d scripts
or use setcpu
im usin setcpu as im not a pro at init.d
