No. I think it was the update binary. Cos last time G version also got problem flashing thunderbolt cos of the binary.

Edit: If this one also dun work, can you get the update binary from your rom zip file and replace in this zip file. Its in \META-INF\com\google\android

Some of these app like avast can survive hard reset. Only way is to flash a new rom and not everyone is familiar with this. blink.gif

Things you can do
1) Do backup and then factory reset. Upgrading to KL3 is a big jump from previous version.
2) Use betterbatterystats to find out whats draining batt.
3) Is the wifi problem on your modem side or not?

I dun think its drag too long. Its totally new version of android so definitely they need to make sure it has as little issues as possible. I would rather they take their time and give a stable version than rush out a buggy version. Even Galnex still have some bugs (ask fallenangel, he always have something to complain about it, tongue.gif )

What is the rush to move to ICS anyway? GB works very well already. With our device high spec, i doubt we will see much improvement in performance anyway. If you just like the look, there are a lot of themes available already.

Samsung rom definitely will be with TW. doh.gif and icons will be green. doh.gif doh.gif

I will probably use CM9 or custom rom that have the icons changed. CM9 need kernel sources to proceed. Now its stuck.

Yeah i think its suppose to utilize more of the GPU to reduce cpu load and save batt. Problem is, app/games designer need to implement this in their app/games i think. If not, mayb not much diff. I could be wrong though. hmm.gif
