Can anyone check if they have their version 5.1.
I wanna know how many have the same as mine.

i also facing that prob..i think it's firmware prob,u need to enable 3g n data in order to get msg n incoming call..it happened after i update to 5.0.1,i never face this prob in 4.3.3

Bro...5.1 (9B176) is for Iphone 4 only...
5.1 (9B179) is for Iphone 4S...

Sorry. It happened to me once so it's actually a serious question. Remember when I had the 1K data overcharge? My phone basically can't call out, have no data connection etc. When I went to the telco, they said that I'm over my credit limit and I need to pay up. So I paid the 1K and got my call/sms/data back ....

Do this things

1. Take out the simcard and rebootthe iPhone
2. Try and call the phone using either your home phone/office phone or another mobile and see what is going on

If this is still problematic, then try resetting all network settings.

Hopefully this will solve all your problems.

when i call my phone using other phone, the other phone indicates that my phone is ringing but my phone is not receiving an incoming call.

Try to on/off your cellular data.

This really sounds like the phone need to be send to service centre. Hmm

This is really problematic. The jailbreak is not worth not being able to receive calls. If all else fails, you need to wipe your iPhone and restore to the latest firmware and see if you still have the problems. If after restoring you still have the issues, then it is time to send in for warranty service.

you should (in fact many of us) wait for untethered jb which is not yet released. wait sabar sabar ya

Google on how to check your 3Gs bootrom version. If you have the old bootrom version then the 5.1 jailbreak will be untethered. If it's a new bootrom version, then it will be tethered just like everyone else.
