Try to find any free app and download it. It will prompt you to create an Apple ID and from there the none option will appear.

Why u need to wait for 0%?

The best way to charge your battery is when it less then 20%. Dont wait it until reach 0% bcoz it will stress your battery and it may lead to material fatigue (resulting decrease battery life).

Its ok to happen few times but dont do it very often unless u r in emergency and dont have charger around u.smile.gif

yes standby time is how long has ur phone been alive since last charge

the iphone 4s users we posting their standby time to compare each other battery usage n drainage back then using the screenshot of this usage n standby time

usage time is how long u have been using it in total, use means call, game, browsing

standby means how long your phone has been powered by battery

if you have connected to a charger for a small charge or plug in computer for a sync, it will display a note under standby time that the phone has been pluggin in

if youve just done a full cycle charge you will see standby time reset and starts again as how long has it been after full recharge and will notshow how long it will last like 18 hours or so.

Added on January 28, 2012, 7:59 amso certain ppl who used their phone less will have a low usage time and higher standby time

wheres ppl who used their phone a lot will have a higher usage time and a lower standby time

its simple, use phone more, phone usage high,
battery consumed more
use phone less, battery consume less, more standby time

Thnx mate for ur detailed explanation...

You need to run down your battery to 0% once a month. That's the recommendation by Apple to do a full cycle (0% and then charge to 100%) as that will maintain the battery life.

Then how about the first time?
Drain the phone and do a full cycle as well?
Or straight away charge the phone to full first?

It's not as rigid as that, as long as you have the habit of a full cycle every month, the battery will be fine.

Full cycle is from 0 to 100%.
but the recommendation is from 20% to 100%. not 0.
Atleast once per month we need to full charge from 20 to 100.

This is from Apple, last I heard, running it down completely means running it down until it shuts down.

Use iPhone Regularly

For proper maintenance of a lithium-based battery, it’s important to keep the electrons in it moving occasionally. Be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).

So even if like 90% or 100% if connect to computer with cable the it's fine won't hurt the battery? If connect with the adapter and charge just will hurt?

Whatever it is, there's a lot of info you can get from Google

http://www.tonybove.com/tonytips/tiki-inde...page_ref_id=148

The link above has some more information about Lithium-Ion batteries and it's usage for the iPhone.

Just do what you think is right for you. I do a 100% to fully discharge once a month. It works for me, the battery is doing what I want it to do ... do what ever you think is best. That's my advice.
