Sinbad as for ur Q...
until now i dunno the actual function/usage of LSC and HSC... but this is wat someone told me... LSC = controls how plush ur ride is. the lower the setting, the plusher the ride. but u have brake dive and all. HSC = controls the fork not to bottom out. the higher the setting, the more difficult to bottom out. but once ur fork is in the mid travel, u'll lose plushness. so the trick here is to set LSC to be plush enough but no brake dive. but not too high until u lose small bump compliance. as for HSC...2-3 clicks out from fully open will do. bcoz we wouldnt be doing much that involves high speed fork movement...what more bottoming out the fork. anyway this is what i know about LSC and HSC. do correct me if i m wrong. |

If you hensem like me, wear what also hensem. nuffsaid.
LSC is the first half of travel. HSC is 2nd half of travel- to bottom. LSC if slow, u brake dive coz plush, fast not so plush so not much brake dive. HSC if slow, u hentam big landing, bottom fast, if fast, not so easy bottom up normally i play LSC neutral, HSC fast, so bottom slower. textbook said it's good when you drop on rock garden. But non of the above are really important except the hensem like me part. as long you arent a racer, those settings doesnt really matters. |
