QUOTE(ahchat @ Jan 22 2012, 06:57 PM) how about exitway X9 SL frame??..is it ok?? again not to not look u no up....d frame built seem a bit stronger than d exitway XCR EX.... but if u thinking to change from an exitway to other exitway... i say...just forget it and just ride what u have... The least u could look at is Scott Scale, Merida HFS/TFS or Giant XTC. Or maybe Trek 8500. even our sifu here is using XTC. so it shud be good. |

Added on January 25, 2012, 7:08 am QUOTE(Eclipse123 @ Jan 25 2012, 01:35 AM) Hi. i'm around 175cm, new to downhill and mountainbiking. downhill with a 1.5k bike?Looking for a new bike to ride around, budget around +- RM1500. I know it's very little, but any good bikes around my budget? with that money u can only get the front wheel for a DH rig. And that's without a tire! But VPP syiok wooooo! mau boutique bike then yeti asr5 - 5 inc yeti 575 -5.75 inch sc LT - 5.5 inch sc TRC - ~5inch but carbon. For SC, pls get one with VPP link else i dont think they worth the $.. Wan to differential VPP and none, just look at the SC web price if u malas. VPP is about 2.5 times more exp for same travel due to the royalty for copyright. QUOTE(anthony_nch82 @ Jan 29 2012, 07:58 PM) LoL! where got rear shock stroke until 4"!!!By the way. How does the frame travel being measured? 4", 5", or 7" Take example at my bike. Scott Spark 2012. SCOTT As I see. The rear shock only has 4" stroke. But Scott mentioned the rear travel 120mm. the longest rear shock stroke is only 3.5". The frame travel is actually the amount of the rear wheel movement along its path. |
