It depends where the vpn server is located and their international routing. I've used a vpn in sg to get higher bandwidth to the USA. Unfortunately time has only 4Mbps to USA unless parallel connection.

Yes agree. It depends where the VPN server is located. TIME which is using Global Transit for outside Malaysia traffic has some speed issues to San Frans servers, around 4 - 5Mbps only.

Hi Bro,

Based on my experience, for 8Mbps, the speedtest result for both download & upload should be around +-10% of 8Mbps. If less than that you can complain to TIME.

The actual download speed would vary from server to server or more accurately the location of the server you are downloading from & taking into consideration of other factors such as filtering by other foreign ISP...Routing issues...concurrent connections etc.

Thanks.

Hi Bro,

Let me confirm again Regalia Apartment RFS. Should be already done.

Yes 15Mbps is not a problem, usually for TIME FTTH or FTTO, a +-10% allowance is expected. If you suddenly get 10Mbps for example, & it lasts for a long time or all the while..... that's not possible....something's wrong.

Feel free to PM me if you wish to know more how TIME Fibre technology works.

Thanks.

Hi bro

for modest and conservative answer We get from Time Regional Sales Head to Time corporate customers :

"For broadband service, we only provide “best effort” which means, at any point of time, we guarantee 50% of the speed subscribed. It is standard and applies to all telco’s since this is a shared technology."

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you all need further clarification.

Of course Time strive very best effort to maintain best service and support to our customer as we are the only fibre provider that provide 100% fibre solution

The coverage we will check and revert accordingly

thanks for your interest on Time home Fibre Broadband.

Hi Bro,

The Cisco Router for FTTH & FTTO Basic package is E1200, For FTTO Plus, they are giving Cisco SRP527W (this is a good business router with good range & speed but there are some minor glitches).

Feel free to PM me if you want to know more technical details.

Thanks.
