is there any coverage in penang for landed properties, i just live beside golfview apartments which have time fibre but mine is landed though.

Moving to The Light Collection I condominium in Penang later this month. It's a newly constructed unit (completed just July 2013), I am wondering if Time has laid its fibre there?

According to Time's website, Time covers The Light Point and The Light Linear condominiums. These two buildings are only one road-width away from Light Collection I condominium.

TIME 100Mbps has monthly quota of 100GB. So, when you exceed the quota, the internet speed will be throttled to 1Mb. If you are a heavy user, I advise you to get the other Time packages (8Mbps,15Mbps,30Mbps).

I am currently an Astro IPTV subscriber using Time Fibre. I am thinking of adding a second line for backup and load balancing. Am considering the unlimited 15 Mbps home fibre.

my questions are

1) can i move my current Time Voice subscription from my current Astro IPTV package to the 15 Mbps Time Home Fibre package? that way i can enjoy the 2000 mins free calls. i don't want to change my phone number

2) since both my broadband lines will be from Time, will i really get any backup per se? i was thinking getting an Unifi line, but i really don't have a need for their HyypTV plus I have heard that their effective bandwidth can get pretty bad at night.

That's far too long. How long does it take when subscribing through you ?

Well, I'm pretty far from UniMAP(even though UniMAP is scattered around Perlis). My area is Padang Melangit, which is about 8.5 kilometers north from Kangar. The only internet service I got here is streamyx 1mbps. The connection is quite stable during good times, but during bad times.. Worse than Astro during stormy weather..

Like you said, they will focus more on Education hub and Kangar. But in a Kampung area like my home, real slim chance. But my kampung is not really kampung like you need to cross river, fight tiger, go through a jungle to get there. Its right beside a main road.
Thanks.. Getting sick of streamyx going out 1-2 days per month when we're paying the bill. There's this one time where the cable was stolen(not in my village, but 2-3 kilometers north but still my village got no internet/phone). it took almost a months and a half to fix the cable and when we still need to pay the full month subscription when theres no internet or phone. I tried to ask them if I still need to pay but streamyx said I need to pay first then when the cable is restored, call them again to make an adjustment.. fat chance..

I was having problem with the e1000 wifi router so I decided to change it using asus RT-N12 wifi router. During setup it prompted for the account name and password from the ISP. Tried call8ng astro byond but the password they provided is still invalid. Is the account name and password same for all? Thanks in advance

Thank you to @yeapch01 for his fast work. First to install TIME Fiber in my condo.

The contractor even came earlier than schedule. Appointment was on Monday(19/8) he came 2 days earlier on Saturday(17/8) very friendly bunch. Did a good job of drilling and sealing back the hole.
